Their enemies are "super" government afterall.
Then superheroes will have to be super than the supergovernments.
The theory of infinity applied if humans forever exist on earth. Who knows if human gonna be extinct in year 3000 or 4000.
But really, no superheroes until then?

That's hard. Goverments are power and power tends to corrupt. The supergovernments would slowly turn into supervillains instead of staying as superheroes.

But really, no superheroes until then?

Not at our generation at least. May be at our great great grandchildren's generation.

Not knowing might be the best thing.
This game was started being developed when NFT was at its peak (2021-2022) and the publisher (LINE NEXT Inc.) tried their luck by corporating NFT into the game.

Sadly by the time this game was released, the speculative NFT market has largely collapsed, with over 95% of digital art collections deemed virtually worthless, though the technology has shifted quietly toward practical uses like ticketing and memberships.
Still thankfully this game was not developed and published by SEGA so nobody other than Rent-a-Hero fans (who patiently wait for 36 fricking years) got mad over it.

Not that far off from wehat we have in the comics.
As said, if the kind of heroes and villains seen in comics become real, supervillains will likely be the first.

Well, perhaps in my next life, I'll be a superhero.
Not knowing might be the best thing.

I hope the Rent-A-Hero fans get compensation, because remember when I said an "uphill struggle" Sega will have will be getting fresh blood in classic IPs? 'cus this will likely cost some Rent-A-Hero fans to leave over it.

And when they appear, it's your time be the superhero to stop them.

SEGA themselves didn't even help to promote the game in their social media when it launched like they did with SOR4 and Alex Kidd DX. May be they already knew that it's gonna fail.

I've added it to my wish list on Steam. I won't buy it straight-away (even though it's currently on -15% discount), I'd rather see how it goes before I purchase.
That, and along with Crocotile 3D which is also on my wish list and currently -20% off, I don't want to spend money on programs I'll just put aside.

Besides, not like discounts won't come around again for these programs.
And when they appear, it's your time be the superhero to stop them.
Usually when the dragon kidnaps the damsel, that's when a hero rises.

Likely. But do you think Sega are kicking themselves for not getting involved with SOR4 and Alex Kidd DX?

My younger-self would really love this. I used to do progamming for M.U.G.E.N stages but I'm too old for any kind of programming right now.

Usually when the dragon kidnaps the damsel, that's when a hero rises.

Well, we have dragons here in Komodo island, but they don't kidnap anyone.
They just straight ate everyone in their way, be it monkey, boar, or human.

Likely. But do you think Sega are kicking themselves for not getting involved with SOR4 and Alex Kidd DX?

No, given SEGA was already busy with their core franchises at that time, I think it's nice for them to give third parties a chance with other franchises even though they didn't get involved much.
