Starlight Zone theme is the most popular Sonic theme in Japan (more than Green Hill zone) since every Japanese who ever went to mall or superstore might ever heard it.
Why? Because it was the song's used in UFO Catcher.
They were everywhere back then.

RIP Rieko Kodama

Rieko Kodama, also known as Phoenix Rie, has passed away.
She was a major designer for the Phantasy Star series, directing IV, and produced several games including Altered Beast, Phantasy Star IV, Alex the Kidd, Sonic 1, and Skies of Arcadia.
She will be greatly missed.
