Depended on the size of SEGA's GBA
May be they would called it "Game Gear Mini"
and later they'd release smaller version and called it "Game Gear Micro"
They really should of reconsidered that. I mean, why not release a full-size Game Gear with modern technology and release the micro games as Game Gear games? That way if you ever find any old Game Gear games at discount bins you can still play 'em.

Game Gear Micro is a handheld console for ants. The handheld needs to be at least...
...
Three times bigger than this.

Every old Game Gear games that sold on ebay/amazon/discount bins doesn't make money for SEGA.
That's why they're not interested.
MD Mini and GG Micro sold well in Japan because Japan love cute tiny things.
There's no guarantee for them that bigger version would sell as well.
Even the great PlayStation Classic bombed.

I guess. The Game Gear Micro was kinda stupid though. I'd much rather the compilation of games just be released online.

I only have one GG Micro, the red one with Columns on it, and it plays fine.
Kinda hard to play GG Shinobi on it though so I think it's more suited to puzzle games.
Turn-based RPG is fine too since it's just choosing text, just too bad they're in Japanese.
Just kinda wish it has Tetris.

I don't know for the rest of the world, but in Japan it's because of both practical and religious roots.

I guess that's also why Game Gear Micro is only being released in Japan.

What, sneak in a micro handheld at religious sermon?

I done that before more than once.

You made religious activities sound cooler than they do.

Yeah, me too. Or then again, may be everybody does.
