Archie has Sonic X and Sonic Boom comics so I guess it made sense if IDW given license to make one for Prime.
Not soon probably, may be when we reached after half of the series.

Yeah, lucky indeed.
SEGA could copy Nintendo's overprotective approach with their IPs but thank God they didn't.
Well it's not like IDW Sonic is based after Prime just as Archie Sonic was based on SatAM. That be weird.

I thought the newest one is issue 53?
53 has these covers :

More like leaves little to the imagination.

Her imagination is actually good and funny, though I kept distracted by ... uh.... those.

I too have been distracted. That's just the way of skimpy PSO2.

The more you deny, the more suspicious arise...

We aren't alone...
There is other who got distracted too and even asked to move the view-blocking bird...

Sonic the Hedgehog once befriended someone with a striking similarity to Iron Man

Quote
Shortfuse the Cybernik's biggest contribution was when he assisted Sonic the Hedgehog and Amy Rose on an interplanetary adventure in the two-part comic book event Sonic the Comic: Game Over (by Lew Stringer, Richard Ellerson, and Ellie de Ville), where Doctor Eggman planned to harvest the life energy of Earth and Mobius to grant him god-like power.
Shortfuse's technological experience proved essential in deactivating Doctor Eggman's devices, managing to use his own suit to siphon the life energy away from Doctor Eggman's body.
This allowed Sonic to land a finishing blow to incapacitate the doctor, but the overload of energy caused the Cybernik suit to explode.
