I noticed a bit of a continuity error...

Either Scrapnik Island keeps up with Eggman news after the Dreamcast-era or how come Mecha Sonic remembers Dr. Eggman in his current appearance when most of his prior memories were of S3&K?

Yeah, it's supposed to be Classic Eggman in his mind if he eyewitnessed the story he's telling, so probably it was something he heard from other badniks after the Dreamcast-era.

Ojisan usually is very excited when he had to fight strong opponents (and I bet elf included in his list of who he wanted to fight).
He even wanted to have a serious match with Mabel with her full power but Mabel always refuses.



This time he's kinda torn since elf isn't herself, she's being possesed by Death-Adder like character.
Translated dialogue in the latest story  :
