Nintendo did that because it worked for them, that's the nature of their fanbase.
SEGA's fanbase is more varied.
I myself prefer the innovative side of SEGA than just milking old IPs (not that I mind with this approach, I still buy most of Sonic games day one).
I'd love to be surprised.

I guess so.. just wish Sega would at least do more... though I guess that's no longer a validating complaint of mine with Power Surge on the way.

I read it! While not exactly holiday heart-warming it was still a fun adventure... I mean, I didn't like the "reality show" angle it was going for but was still  good read.

Enjoyable read indeed. I haven't caught up with the mainline stories so thankfully this issue doesn't need that to read.
