Cops 'N' Cabbies Mode sounds a bit Grand Theft Auto... you think Sega are hoping Crazy Taxi: World Tour would at least peg Grand Theft Auto VI a little?

Nah, from what I saw this is a multi player mode only so I don't think they're heading that way.

I see, like a movie series built from the original series, but not on it.

Godzilla is also getting new movie. Poor Bayonetta has to battle these two in the poll.

It be ballsy if they did. Not saying they should. But Crazy Taxi and GTA has a few similarities. Not a lot, but a few.

She's taken on worse. She fought kaiju-sized celestial monsters all the while grooving like a go-go dancer.

Yes, but I don't want Crazy Taxi to be called as GTA-rip off. It's already a unique original franchise to the point that other games are ripping it off.

No worries since Bayonetta absolutely can create and control kaiju-sized monsters, and doing so is a core part of her magical toolkit. She conjures them from Inferno using her hair as a portal and the scale of her summons reaches staggering, skyscraper-dwarfing sizes.

Her weakness for the poll is she have no new games in plan, only a colab with Stellar Blade.

I wouldn't say it's a rip-off. Hell, you could argue Grand Theft Auto ripped off Crazy Taxi... maybe, probably coincidence.

Crazy Taxi hit the arcades in February 1999. This was of course a year before the PlayStation 2. Grand Theft Auto II was also released that year for PlayStation 1, which had the same top-down view gameplay as it's predecessor games.

That's not to say the PlayStation 1 couldn't handle open-world driving games, such games as Driver which was released in June that year and had gameplay similar to Crazy Taxi. But the 1997 game Carmageddon also shows that 3D open-world driving game was also possible back then for the PlayStation. Carmageddon was a bit primitive, but honestly, Die Hard Trilogy (With A Vengeance) also comes to mind and that was released in 1996!
It wasn't until Grand Theft Auto III where the games became fully 3D and the modern GTA gameplay being fleshed out from.
So Crazy Taxi was a bit earlier than Grand Theft Auto, but to say GTA ripped off Crazy Taxi would be a bit of a stretch given I feel between Crazy Taxi, With a Vengeance and Driver, it was less about who inspired or ripped-off who and more of that's how open-world driving games were just going once the hardware became more available sort of thing.

I think her series has came to an end given her death.

Though could be possible Viola will be taking her mothers place. Though I dunno if she will have the same "appeal" as her mother.
That or, given parallel universes are confirmed, another Bayonetta will take her place.

I don't think anybody thought that Crazy Taxi is a GTA rip-off or the other way around. I'm only continuing the what if scenario when you hypothetically saying what if SEGA's hoping Crazy Taxi: World Tour would at least peg Grand Theft Auto VI a little which I think that's not the case since the mode is not the main gameplay of the game. If they change all the gameplay into just Cops 'N' Cabbies Mode and nothing else, then it's okay if people call it a GTA rip-off.

The game didn't end with Bayonetta 3. Platinum Games made a prequel of it, Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon!

Sure it has different gameplay and atmosphere but it's still counted as Bayonetta game.
They still wanted to make more of the prequels if Nintendo's willing to publish them.

yeah, I know CT:WT is its own thing, but would still probably give GTA6 a bit of... I wouldn't say competition, but certain draw a bit of attention from it... not much, but a little.

They could continue the series from her childhood. It be a bit different genre from what the main-series fans are used to, but still a way to continue the series.
