Didn't we got this sale too on April this year :

Maybe if Sonic Origins was under the sale, it be turning some heads but unlikely.

You know a bit back I asked if you regard the Shining series in comparison to the Fire Emblem series...

What game/series would you compare/counterpart to F-Zero? Or at least Captain Falcon.

So far, my guess is Power Drift. While it's not sci-fi or cyberpunk racing game it's use of sprites almost on par with the NES Mode 7.

Funnily enough SEGA's counterpart to F-Zero are F-Zero themself.
F-Zero AX (arcade) and F-Zero GX (Gamecube) were developed by SEGA (Amusement Vision).

But if I had to choose from another franchise, I'll probably pick Outrun 2019.
The future theme of the game could always be explored more.
Too bad the game's just one time wonder like Ristar & Burning Rangers.

I did consider this game but I was unsure of it as a Sega game, but it can work with my collage. I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess Phoenix was one of Sega's characters. Purely speculation but pulling straws here.

This looks good. Did it had it's own Captain Falcon in it? Or any protagonist?

Even though it was probably created by SEGA, in the end it's still on Nintendo franchises.
Same thing with Sonic derivative characters : Freedom Fighters, Scourge the Hedgehog, etc
They should've been belong to SEGA.

I haven't played this for long time but I don't remember any characters with names from it, same with other Outrun series.

That's a pity. I almost finished my collage thing. I can fill it out with Shining=Fire Emblem characters.

I know at least game/series that could be compared/counterparted to Pikmin.

In terms of characters, not gameplay.
It's Chuchu Rocket !!!
(there are only 4 games of them though, while Pikmin has 6).

At least Naka and Miyamoto think so....

Naka:
I was really jealous of Pikmin. I had wanted to make something like that someday.
Actually, I love Lemmings, and I wanted to make a game like that, updated in a more modern style.
But of course, the minute I think that, Miyamoto comes along and beats me to the punch again with Pikmin. (laughs)

Miyamoto: Well, you made ChuChu Rocket!, and that game had a lot of little characters moving all around.
