Through its official website, Marvelous has launched a special page to celebrate two of its biggest franchises: Rune Factory, now marking its 20th anniversary, and Story of Seasons, which has officially reached its 30th anniversary.As part of the celebration, new illustrations have been revealed. For Story of Seasons, fans are treated to artwork featuring the iconic Pete alongside his farm animals. Meanwhile, the Rune Factory side showcases characters from Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma in a more relaxed setting, wearing cozy pajamas, offering a fresh and charming look at the cast.The celebration becomes even more engaging with the launch of a character popularity poll across both series. A total of 560 characters are available to vote for, including 347 from Story of Seasons and 213 from Rune Factory. From this massive lineup, only the Top 10 characters from Story of Seasons and Top 5 from Rune Factory will receive brand-new illustrations, created by their respective artists, Igusa Matsuyama and Minako Iwasaki. The voting period runs from March 18, 2026 to April 6, 2026.With a celebration of this scale, it’ll be interesting to see which characters emerge as fan favorites. If you had to choose just one, who would you pick from Story of Seasons and Rune Factory? Considering the effort put into this event, including a dedicated website, hopefully this celebration won’t stop at illustrations, but could also hint at new project announcements for both franchises in the near future.
