Yeah, I know how dangerous gambling can be.
Gacha games are one of the closest examples here.

It is kinda sad how easily accessible gambling games are these days, especially to the young and impressionable. I'd never bother with such ridiculous cheap money-grubbing games.

I buy Lottery tickets anyway.

Have you or people close to you ever win one? The lottery?

Closest I came to winning is two numbers. Which usually results in a bit of money for shopping or a free lucky dip.

SEGA on Pinball Market Trivia

Quote
SEGA would enter the pinball market with its own machine in 1971, titled “Winner”.
Three years of R&D work resulted in SEGA’s machines requiring less maintenance with its closed plug-in relays, more reliable than open switch-blade relays used at that time.

Maybe I'll win it big someday. But it's certainly safer than spending thousands on virtual girls.

501 Entertainment and SEGA Amusements ink deal

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hk98Hjj8DN4

Quote
Under the terms of the agreement, Sega will distribute 501 Entertainment’s SMARTS Interactive and AR Darts products globally, both of which are making their debut at the show.
Smarts Darts Interactive is the traditional pub darts experience, modernised with video game components.
The steel-tipped darts and physical dartboard delivers instant scoring and rich graphics on a TV.
Meanwhile the Smarts Darts AR projects targets and scores directly onto the board, transforming it into a screen that reacts to darts thrown in real time.

1975 marked a major milestone in SEGA history.
A newly designed logo, still in use today, was introduced to the public.
Its filing with the U.S. Trademark Office seen here made it official.

SEGA’s old arcades are making money again as new owners announce ¥3.175 billion profit

Quote
Sega’s exit from the arcade management industry took the form of selling the stock of Sega Entertainment (the Sega subsidiary in charge of arcade management) to a Tokyo-based company called Genda.
Genda first changed the company’s name from Sega Entertainment to Genda Sega Entertainment, and then to just Genda GiGO Entertainment.
The important thing to take away here is that Genda GiGO Entertainment is specifically the Genda subsidiary that’s managing Sega’s old arcades today, and in its most recent financial report, Genda GiGO Entertainment has posted a profit of 3.175 billion yen for the year, a major reversal from the 2.308 billion-yen loss it suffered the previous year, nine months of which the arcades were still being managed by Sega for.
That’s a nice increase, but not nearly enough to account for the nearly five billion-yen turnaround the company reported. So what does account for it? Accounting.

They'll harass your twitter account.
They'll defend their waivus like religious people defended their prophets.
Oh.. You don't have one?
You're safe then.
