Yu Suzuki was an arcade master, almost all of his masterpieces were arcade games (which then later ported to various consoles).
But for console games, he's not a great planner.
Sword of Vermilion stressed him out because of console limitation (to the point that he didn't want to be credited) and Shenmue's budget got a lot bigger than it's planned to be.
If arcade was still alive may be SEGA won't mind bringing back Suzuki but arcade era has passed now.

As much as I am not a fan of mobile premium games. Premium games and arcade games are similar. Couldn't he move onto those?

Yeah but thankfully we can still use VPN.

I don't want to jinx it, but I am surprised VPNs are even legal, and by "legal" I mean, allowed by our governments given it usurps their internet laws.

I was thinking more along the lines of an "Arcade Online" where just Sega's best arcade games, but require micropayments for "tokens".

And why would that stop them from banning VPNs to commoners regardless? Of course, a politician breaking his own laws for his benefit is just unheard of.

I do. Especially when the advertisements are shoved in your face, or the game is like "Pay a small fee, or wait hours for progress!". But if you think about it, arcades have always been about micropayments. These micropayments being 50p or £1 for games, or the use of tokens etc. So it would make sense that if Sega can't make games for the arcades anymore, they will move onto mobile. I despise it, but it's logical.

I might have to use it more myself. With Ofcom blocking various sites from underaged users, I don't really care much for that given my own tastes. But some of those sites believe UK laws will expand these restrictions to social sites with content that goes against their political ideals eventually. So it might be a must at some point.

Last Cloudia for example, the ONLY way to get Sonic, Bayonetta, or Persona characters were all during the events.

Depended on the point of view. What's a good idea for government sometimes doesn't align with what's good for people, especially if the motive is to secure their own comfort zone.
