Given Sonic 4 has biggest budget among the four movies it better be a damn well movie and hopefully then they take it slowly from there.
Plus rumour said they add romantic comedy elements in Sonic 4.
I hope it's done well and not cringe.
Sonic 4 might make or break the series from here on in. I just can't help but think of Indiana Jones or Pirates of the Caribbean, movies that started out great, but just ended up bad in the end. I don't want that for the Sonic films, but in an infinite monkeys sort of way, the more movies they produce the inevitable it will become.

Do you know any movie franchise that keep success eventhough it's already past beyond its trilogy/tetralogy?
Were Toy Story & Fast and Furious also in this category?

Is Funko Pop! In Trouble? Company Behind It Admits It May Not Survive Another Year

Quote
Funko's latest financial report paints a grim picture. In the third quarter of 2025, sales dropped 14%, bringing in $250.9 million (approximately £205 million) but ending with a loss of $1 million (approximately £820,000).
The decline comes from falling demand, high tariffs, slow retail orders, and years of overproduction flooding the market. Reports show that the US sales suffer the most, dropping 20% compared to last year. That's a major blow for a company that relies heavily on domestic revenue.
Once a staple in Walmart, Target, and every comic book store, these blank-eyed, little figures are now gathering dust. The billion-dollar empire Funko built is struggling with ...

RUMOR: Paramount is developing a standalone Sonic spinoff movie

Quote
A new rumor has sparked major buzz across the  Sonic movie community, and this time the focus is firmly on Keanu Reeves. Following his breakout debut as Shadow the Hedgehog in  Sonic the Hedgehog 3, Reeves is now at the center of reports claiming that Paramount may be working on a standalone Shadow movie.
The claim comes from the scooper MyTimeToShineHello, who stated on November 15 2025 that a Shadow focused feature is officially in development and that Paramount is also interested in creating a project centered on Amy. While the information remains unconfirmed, the rumor spread quickly, with ...

Kid Cudi (who composed "Stars in the Sky" and portrayed Agent Mason in Knuckles TV Series) has deleted his tweet about Michael Jackson

Quote
Kid Cudi, in a now-deleted post, described Michael Jackson as “just music,” while expressing a desire to be remembered across multiple creative fields:
"Michael was the greatest, but he was just music."
And let’s just say, what he said didn’t land well with his fans or folks online afterwards.

Sonic movie spinoff confirmed for 2028

Quote
Paramount previously confirmed that Sonic the Hedgehog 4 would speed into theaters in spring 2027, but the studio is ready to expand the universe even further with a spinoff movie the following year. Paramount has announced that an event film in the Sonic universe will come to theaters in December 2028.
Sega added the untitled Sonic spinoff movie to its release calendar today alongside a live action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film. Set to release on December 22, 2028, the “Sonic Universe Event Film” as Sega is currently referring to it, will be the fifth movie in ...

For what I've heard, but don't fully believe, it will be a crossover with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

I don't know whether the new TMNT movie (2028) will be a reboot or not nut most likely it will.
So I doubt it if they're gonna tie it with another movie if the story is an origin / first year story.

I dunno much on TMNT to say. It's just a crossover rumour which I don't believe in.
