Yeah I guess so. I was just a little kid back than having fun with my master system and mega drive so I was kind of developing the whole fan thing. Never had a saturn though. The dreamcast era was great but I find the games sega are coming out today to be of a much higher quality.

SEGA's line-up is on the level where a sega console with all those games would maybe sell millions. I know it's not gonna happen now, but I know deep down every fan is hoping for that day to come. Shenmue 3 anyone?

Let's make a toast to that 8-)

I'm just excited lol, must.... stay... calm....
Need... to supress... fanboyism

Ohh, well this gives me hope! I was trying to keep my hopes low after the E3 debacle and that Gamescom failure this year.

Failure? Sega wasn't even there, how can you say it failed?

Virtua Tennis 4 was there though, and it looks like the weakest release yet and was only announced for the PlayStation 3.

I wouldn't go as far as to say better. You can't even begin to compare the impact Sonic Adventure had on everyone. But I hope it's just as fun!

And yes, VT4 looked like a disappointment. At least with that control scheme.

I wont lie, I'm sure everyone posting here today at least liked Sonic Adventue 1... maybe even loved it. I know I did... But it was also the game that introduced some of the biggest problems the series has today.

Sonic Colours seems to fix many of them, so I think in some ways to some people it could be a better game. (If it does turn out to be a quality game.)

Well from that point of view I agree. I do hope Colors is finally a good Sonic game, leading way to a great one like it used to be.

VT4 and SFR are just modified titles, they're not the real move/Kinetic titles IE games created around the add on specifically. I thought most of you lot knew that so i dunno why everyone is complaining for about something most of you aren't even going to invest in.

Sonic Free Riders WAS actually designed around Kinect stuff and cannot be played with a controller. All of the items and gimmicks in the game are completely new and nothing like anything in the spinoff series yet.

Modified game ie being based on an exisiting title to use with a particular platform's unique attribute. It wasn't built specifically around it like some upcoming titles. Throwing new stuff in when the engine and design code already exists doesn't make it new. next thing you'll be telling us VT 2009 was brand new because it can't be played by anything but a Wii controller. :lol:

@Sanus
Which is why I don't understand folks who want a controller option. If they included a controller option, then Kinect would lose out on an accessory exclusive title and Free Riders would be a pointless sequel to Riders Zero Gravity. I'll bet you SEGA didn't even consider Free Riders existing until the Kinect was initially announced. I'll also bet that MS helped fund a portion of Free Riders in exchange for no controller option. That, or it is just too taxing on the dev team to develop two control layouts. It's like complaining about Sonic CD not having a cartridge version or Chaotix not being on the standard Genesis.
