Played SASAR quite a bit last night. The Sega mashup that it is hit me when I was racing at Seaside Hill as Ulala, I passed Opa Opa, Ryo smacked into me and then the Bonanza Bros. went All-Star and their huge blimp appeared overhead. I love those wtf moments.

Also been playing Sonic Jam on the Saturn, I love all the gameplay modes.

And finally, I've been playing Virtua Fighter on the 32X. That and Chaotix make the 32X worth owning. Also, Genesis carts seem to go in and out much easier (that's what she said).

Finally finished Miles Edgeworth. Quite possibly the worse game in the Ace Attorney series. Not that I didn't like the new gameplay modes but the story wasn't anything out of the ordinary.  :|

Playing GTA: LCS on the PSP. Again, the game won't even let me add custom soundstracks in the game, even though I have several musics on my PSP  :x.

Just beat God of War II.  I actually liked it quite a bit more than the first one.  More varied environments, better puzzles, more interesting bosses, less of those annoying balancing beam sections, and more detail in the whole greek mythology side of it.

Looking forward to playing through the third one at some point.

Finished inFamous on hard and have been scouring the city for blue shards.
I'm getting sick of collectables like these now, Uncharted had them, Assassin's creed 2 had themand most fps' have them but they rarely provide any fun in getting them.

I'm about 4 trophies off the platinum so will force myself to get them as my brother is beating me by one platinum trophy.

Still playing Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver on Dreamcast.

I really am mesmerized, I cannot believe I have been missing out on this treasure for so many years. Okay, the controls have aged a bit and there are some things that could be a bit better, but really, for what this is all worth, the art, the level design, the gameplay, the music, the setting, the voice acting, the story, the characters, the combat concepts, the graphics, it is just one of my favorite games of all time, and I never even beat it yet!

I would recommend it to everyone here regardless as to what kind of gamer or even person you are, just like I did Bayonetta a few months back.

Next up, Yakuza 2. Been waiting for this one for awhile! My expectations are sky high, so it better be the masterpiece you all let me on thinking it is!

I've been playing Magna Carta 2 ande the plot is getting a little more interesting right now. The game's really not that challenging, I've gone through so many bosses so far, all them pretty easy to beat, had to use some healing items, but overall, a game to just breeze through.

Speaking of which, I also started playing Sherlock Holmes vs Jack The Ripper.
Right off the bat, one thing needs to be said: Sherlock Holmes's voice is horrible, even the random NPC roaming the game world are much better voiced.

The actor who did Sherlock Holmes's voice seems like he's doing a very poor impression of Jeremy Brett. It's like he's trying to be that bad.

Graphics are Xbox 1 quality.

Having said that, it's an OK PC-to-360 title, it's a more mainstream point n click adventure.

Puzzle-solving is surprisinly refreshing, sometimes it involves talking with person A, go to place B, talk with person B, solve a visual puzzle, like all Adventure games.
But sometimes the deduction's are pretty good, it's kinda like Condemned CSI moments, but far more complex and with many more possibilities, you collect many facts, then attempt to recreate the entire scene(a bit awkward, though) and finally make a number of deductions based off of the facts you have collected.

It's been pretty fun thus far.

I think Batman Arkham Asylum is one of the few games that did collectibles right. You could see each individual one you have or haven't collected (So no case of 1 out of 100 missing and having to check each of them again) and most were actually fun things like the Riddler Puzzles.

Honestly, don't get your hopes up too high. I thought it was a very good game, and I really enjoyed it, but it wouldn't be a top 5 game, or even a top 5 Sega game for me.

It's basically improved everything from Yakuza 1 and than some more. I would say if you liked Yakuza than you will like Yakuza 2 a lot more.

And the plotline is even better, which I thought would be hard to do considering Yakuza's plot, but no, this one surpasses it.

Arkham Asylum did it right indeed, it helped me think of metroid in knowing that I need to come back to an area later when I have a gadget to allow me to reach the next trophy.

I've resorted to a map off the internet, I open the map in photoshop and tick off each one when I reach the location.
Hopefully it'll be much easier this way but I am sure something will happen to mess it up.

I ended up missing one shard in inFamous. No idea where it is :-/

I finally finished all my assignments for school (this is my final semester), so I celebrated by finally allowing myself to play the copy of Yakuza 3 I've had sitting on the shelf since it came out here.  I played through the first 3 chapters and I'm really enjoying it so far.  It's more Yakuza, so I'm pretty happy.  I've also grown pretty attached to that orphanage, so if/when something goes down, I'm gonna be Kazuma pissed.

Just finished Shining Force for the first time. Really enjoyed it, although there were a few times the difficulty curve was a bit crazy with enemies one-hit killing my team too often. I think that I was in the mindset of SFIII style 'Keep everyone leveled up because you WILL need them all' instead of 'pick your favourites and level them high as you can'.

The last battle was really easy by the time I figured out the nuances of this game compared to the third. I'm now on SFII, and although I've just done one battle and a few minutes exploring it feels much much more like SFIII did, and it seems just have improved in every area. This GPX2 was a great buy, love playing Mega Drive games on the train.

MadeManG74 whooped me in MvC2 last night. I need an arcade stick and a moves list. The one downsode to XBLA games: no manual. Didn't help that it was the first time I played MvC2 in like 6 years.

I just got serious about getting a GP2X. It would solve my need for a NGPC and save me the price of importing games. There are also a load of GBA games I'd love to play, and Sonic CD on-the-go is very tempting.
