I'm playing a bit of Shining Force 2, but I'm finding the vague hints of where to go next really annoying. The open world feels too open for it's own good trying to find where to go and what to do next somtimes. I prefer the more linear approach of SF1 and 3, but I feel this might just be a short period of the game anyway.

Plants vs. Zombies.
Very fun stuff. I just finished the first world? stage?....the first ten maps anyway, and I'm on "2-1" now.

Pokemon SoulSilver.

God, this is the best Pokemon I've ever played.
I was completely obsessed with Pokemon Gold back in the day, so there are some changed details on the game's progression that I don't like. But that's just me being extremely picky.

It surpasses the originals in the sheer amount of everything. This game is infinite. It has so freaking much stuff to do.
It's also better than the more recent ones cause it has the best pokemons, the first and second ones.

If you remotely like Pokemon, GET THIS.

You think that is bad? There is a part later in the game where you get a plank of wood that you have to somehow instantly know to put into a tree on the other side of the map that opens up a passageway. I am not even joking.

I have mostly been playing Genesis and Master System games on an emulator even though I have a lot of stuff to work on. I have beaten a lot of co-op platformers with friends lately, so I am having a blast. Not to mention I have tried out a few games I never cared to look into only to find out they are awesome, like The Addams Family. It seriously has the best secrets I ever saw in a game. I cannot believe Accolade made such a cool game!

Also been playing the Halo Reach beta some more. All of the modes I have been able to play I love, especially some like Team SWAT, which I thought I would hate! I cannot wait for the next set of modes they will release soon. I have heard the Invasion mode is not very fun, so I am especially curious about that.

@crackdude

Depends on what you want out of that game.

RoF is surely diferrent from many games, the story feels very episodic, a sequence of self-contained stories, I'm already at chapter 2. Whne you finish the main story mission, you only advance to the next chapter only and if only if you want to.

As they said in the reviews, the game is very difficult, sometimes a random encounter can go sour very fast if you screw around too much.

Everything is very solid but leveling up in RoF seems very random, I've had Vashyron leveling up a lot in just two hours and Zephyr has just one up a level or two since then.

With that out of the way, it's sure a fun game.

I lost like 4 times in a row against the Chapter 1 boss but it was just a matter of persistence. But not like Lost Odyssey which made me sometimes want to throw my Xbox 360 out through the window.

Yeah I already did that bit. I couldn't tell if it was just weird and silly or if I had missed something important. Good to know it was just weird. It's really good in terms of the battles and everytihng else, but the structure/exploration is really strange and confusing compared to 1 and 3.

Playing Pitfall in Game Room. Also still addicted to 'Nuts & Bolts'. I actually defeated the first boss with my Sega Saturn car!

Not a bad car, I like that you can put the seat inside the structure and have it completely obscured.

It helped me create my flying opa opa, although it looked more like an F-Zero car afterwards.

I finally have the time to go back to Batman Arkham Asylum. It's a good game [spoiler:107klgkg](I'm just past the bit where Batman arrests Harley)[/spoiler:107klgkg], but I really don't get the hype. You can tell there's a lot of love from real Batman fans in this game. I also like the whole vibe, it reminds me of Bioshock in some way. I find the combat dull and the stealth bits terrible though... Those "lunatic" characters are so annoying it pains me.
