Still playing Magna Carta 2!

Major revelations here and there. Characters levelling up quite nicely, this game is very level grinding friendly as enemies tend to just respawn every now and then.

Boss fights continue to be very easy, especially against this last one, which was almost like an endurance round.

Putting Kamonds on weapons is a great way to beef up your characters.

Celestine's voice is still annoying.

I was enjoying Magna Carta 2 up until this particular part.

I can't buy any items and now I'm stuck in a Boss Battle.

I can't think of any RPG this generation that hasn't screwed me over somehow.

I beat Donkey Kong Country 2 with my girlfriend this morning, then picked up the 3rd one and played through the majority of it.

I couldn't get over how cheap DKC2 was.  I get that the levels are tough, but most of the later levels come down to memorizing everthing, since the sprites are so big that things come at you from offscreen all the time.  That, and you actually have to spend coins to save your game.
That said, the 3rd game addresses a lot of these issues, and I'm really enjoying it.

That is true, some of the most frustrating times as a child was playing DKC, but I loved it.

Backed up my save data of my PS3, going to ship it out. I'm leaving for vacation on monday and won't be back for 3 weeks. So when I get back I will purchase a slim.

Made some more progress in FFXIII.
I think I'm probably around halfway through chapter 11.  I might go back to doing sidemissions after this chapter.  I really want those chocobos.

I remember it getting pretty tough near the end.

I'm on chapter 12 in FFXIII.  Had another run in with a boss that gave me a lot of trouble in chapter 9. Beat them on the first try this time, but it still took about 25 minutes.

Gonna have to throw a bunch of love to Pix N' Love for the iPhone and iPod Touch. Sort of a spin-off of the XBLA title Pixel. If you have these devices, pick the game up! It's only 99 cents and is damn fun!

Playing Stranglehold on Hard.

It's really fucking hard. Fun game though.

Also was playing Monkey Island 2 SE solidly on XBLA, top game.

It has a much more varied and interesting number of colors than Pixel did, though. Thank goodness for that much.

Just finished all the single player on AVP.  The Multi-Player is no fun.  I keep getting placed as an Alien, with 2-3 Predators ganging up on me.  It's already hard enough against just one.  I'm not having fun anymore with it, I think it's time to trade it in.

^Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?

I loved the Multiplayer more than the Single player myself. I used to play as Marine mostly, I got quite good at scoping out Preds and Aliens and shooting them down, or learning to block and counter their moves. It's tough playing as an Alien sometimes, but satisfying to drop from the cieling and impale someone.

What types of matches were you geting? Most of the time, I just found good 'ol deathmatches where you could choose your race anyway.
