I finally got around to playing some Ghostbusters after having it in the backlog pile for the last 8 months or so.  I've just finished the 4th chapter, and I'm having a good time with it.  The levels seem to drag a bit, but the whole Ghostbusters vibe (returning characters, little easter eggs in the levels, etc..) make up for any downsides.

I'm also around the halfway point in Final Fantasy VI on GBA.  Kefka is nuts.

Finished Magna Carta 2 this afternoon. Sa-weet!

Ending was pretty cool. Final boss fight was a little cheap but easy enough.

Beat the first two Halo games again and enjoy and appreciate them now so much more than I did before. Might play through the first one again this year on Heroic.

I just played the first two for the first time this year.  I actually liked the second one's campaign a lot more than the first game's.  The first one was fun and had an interesting story, but some of the levels were just huge repeating areas, that were really boring and tedious. The Library pops to mind.
I liked the fact that you played as the Arbiter in the second one too.

My main complaints with the second game's campaign is how much more boxed in the levels feel in comparison. Sure, you visit more areas, but the first has a very good lonesome and depressing setting with a heavy emphasis on exploring and the music that only helps push that. These are some major reasons why Ecco 1 is my favorite game. The Halo 2 feels more like any other action game to me, and I do not like most of the weapons, plus all of them that you can dual wield feel extremely useless to me, and when you use them you cannot use the grenades. Also I hated how in the second game there were sections you absolutely needed to use vehicles, in the first it was optional and would usually change the AI up in interesting ways.

The Arbiter is such an awesome character though, easily my favorite character from the series.

Other than that, I think the multiplayer is way better in Halo 2. The first game has a lot of great fun to it and great modes, but I think the second mostly expands on the best parts.

I am going to hold off on playing Halo 3 for right now, because I let my cousin borrow it for a bit. Thinking about giving Burning Rangers another go and writing a review for it on my site.

How does Halo 3 stack up to the first two?
I'm mostly concerned with the campaign side of things.

I would rank Halo 3 under Halo 1 (although that may partly be nostalgia) but above Halo 2.

Halo 2 has the weakest campaign, though Halo 3 has the shortest I think.

Yes, Halo 3 is above 2 and below 1 in my opinion too.
But the MP totally makes up for it of course.

I've hardly played my 360 over the past few days, however I've been playing a lot of Floigan Bros. and Skies of Arcadia. :)

Thanks for the opinions guys.  Whenever I've got the spare cash, I'll probably pick up one of the new slim 360s.

I hate every Tekken besides 3. But the Tekken 6 + Arcade Stick pack is at 60 euro. Anyone bought it and can say if it's worth it? A wireless Hori stick. I don't like wireless, but it seems a nice price..

Probably worth it for the stick alone, how much do they go for on their on?

Also, even if Tekken isn't something you enjoy that much, I heard that Tekken 6 has a pretty robust single player mode, so it might be fun.

I can get a label-less stick for 40 to 60 euro. They are heavier, which is a good thing. But this one's a Hori and wireless. Hori sticks are 80+ euros usually.

It's the gameplay I don't like.. But I might give it another shot :)

Still playing Bioshock 2... I'm on the fourth level or something. I was expecting way more out of this... It may be my disappointment of the year.

Finished the first mission of Alpha Protocol in Saudi Arabia. I'm liking the game so far.

I downloaded Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game last night.

Awesome game. I'm a huge fan of the books, so I had pretty high hopes for this one.  The music's fantastic, the art style's great, and there are tons of references to old video games throughout.
I've got to see if I can manage to get 4 people together to play it.

I finished Bioshock 2. Disappointing game, at least compared to the brilliance of the first. I was expecting a major [spoiler:2jrtvf41]"Would you kindly?" type of[/spoiler:2jrtvf41] plot twist but it didn't happen. I didn't check out the multiplayer, I don't have a gold account right now.

I might play Rent-a-Hero on the Xbox next. Or Prototype on the 360. I don't know.
