Just beat Scott Pilgrim.
It's pretty tough unless you've got other people to play through it with, or if you max out your stats.
I took the second road, and after a bit of grinding, I was able to breeze through the last bit pretty easily.  I think I might actually play through it a few more times with the other characters to unlock everything.

If you enjoy (the good) NES games, Metal Slug, and/or 16 beat-em ups (TMNT, SoR,etc..), definitely pick this up.

Played RE 5's special DLC episode Lost In Nightmares.

It rocked. It was pure fanservice for the original RE fans.

After not playing it for 5 years, I restarted Legend of Zelda: Four Sword Adventures, and played it through with my girlfriend.
After beating it, I can honestly say that as far as puzzles go, it's hands down the hardest Zelda game out there.
There were Water Temple-esque moments that popped up many, many times throughout. Mostly around the middle of the game too.

Finished the freeware game Broken Sword 2.5.

Most fun I've had in a while.

Orta received some copies of Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light and gave me one. I was never really a fan of the Tomb Raider series so I was not expecting anything in particular.

Well, the game is really fantastic. Seriously, it just blew me away. It is a puzzle adventure platformer game mixed in with a dual stick shooter and has excellent level design, controls and graphics (seriously looks like a launch window PlayStation 3 game) along with some really impressive replay value that can give you tons of unlockables. It is hard to really describe the game enough to do it any justice, but so far this is one of my favorite game of the year. Best of all is that it has online co-op coming up and multiple DLC packs, and they plan to make this a series to boot... Fantastic.

I think everyone here should at least try out the demo if they can.

Trying to finish Deadly Premonition, you know, the 360's GOTY. But, not too quickly. Got to savor it like a rare piece of steak.

Actually, I just got War Tech (erm..Senko No Ronde), but it's another game where you have to spend a bajillion hours to actually get good at it. I just feel so burnt on games now. (hence me being here)
The only real time I have for them is when I'm playing my DS/PSP during the six hour gap at college. Eh... at least I can finally finish Half Minute Hero. Maybe.

I'm not playing it at the moment, but I was just thinking about Bayonetta and how goddamn amazing it is.

It's one of the few games of the current gen that I've played all the way through. Perfect gameplay length for somebody with a busy schedule. Of course, I have yet to unlock everything, but that might happen this weekend.

After seeing Expendables (Which is the best movie ever), we went into the next-door Timezone Arcade and played Sega's Rambo machine a whole bunch. It was really fun, I love the way the gun has simulated kickbacka and everything. Classic Sega light gun shooting at it's finest.

I just started playing Mafia 2, this game is disgustingly good so far.

I beat Patchwork Heroes. Great little game. Highly recommended for anybody who owns a PSP.

I also beat Final Fantasy VI for the first time. It was pretty interesting to play after having recently gone through V and XIII.  Structurally it seemed to have more in common with XIII than any other FF title that I've played. Very structured first half, focused on getting to know the characters and gameplay mechanics.  Then game opens up in the middle, and you can do pretty much whatever you want with what you've picked up.  At first, I was a bit turned off by the huge amount of characters in it, but surprisingly got to enjoy pretty much all of them by the end of it.
Mog was pretty badass by the time I beat the game.

Started up Alpha Protocol today. I am pretty mixed on it, and in the first hour I was really hating it, but the game is certainly getting better the more I play. I am having a really hard time with trying to be sneaky though.

Too bad a sequel will not happen because a lot of potential was here, that is for sure.

I finished Arkham Asylum. Got all the interviews that mattered to me too. The game is at 69% in 3 days, not bad.. Might get into the rest of the riddles when I finish up other games.

I'm starting up PSO on the Dreamcast for the first time in my life.

PSO offline is pretty rubbish. Just letting you know so you don't get your hopes up. I played it offline years ago and didn't like it much, never played online though.

As for me, I spent all weekend playing Mafia 2. I love the game to bits.

I just got done playing through sonic unleashed for the first time. Werehog stages are not that bad, they are just not what i wanted to do at all. Eggmanland is very very hard

Those pipe balancing bits were the worst.

I just beat Metroid: Zero Mission.  All the little quirks in the first Metroid (not being able to shoot at something right at your feet, save system, etc...) kept me from wanting to put much time into it.  I figured this was the best way to go to experience the first story.
Very solid game. I only got really lost once, which is usually what keeps me from beating some of the other Metroid games I've tried out.  The post-Mother Brain section of it was a nice change of pace.

After beating it, I figured I should finally give Super Metroid a shot, and downloaded it to my Wii.  Hopefully I can get through it before I get around to picking up Other M.
