I ended up playing a ton of Uncharted 2 multiplayer today. Most of it was with STORM and a few of his friends.
I also beat it on Crushing, and got that Platinum trophy :D.

Uncharted 2 was being wonky when I was on. I would get lag, thought it was my connection, so I went all the way to a friends house, who has a stable enough connection, still giving me issues.

I did put in a good solid 5 hours into the session. Good times. Soup and STORM ignoring my existence. This is what marriage feels like.

Got Deadliest Warriors, not the best game. Shallow, buttttt it has a retry feature in the full game.

Fun to play with a few friends if you like Bushido Blade.

9 days after my Xbox 360 dies my PS3 died today!

Goddamit!
Resident Evil 5 stuck in the drive and the system has a flashing Yellow light.

Ugh, if I hadn't just replaced my Xbox then I would run out and get a slim tomorrow, but £250 is considerably harder to spend after spending £140 on a games console one week ago.
I'll be sending my elite to microsoft tomorrow and can then sell the fixed one in a couple of weeks when it comes back on ebay I guess.

I'm at the end of Enslaved now and have put it on ebay, it is great but the resale is still high so will probably not lose any money and hopefully have iit as a free rent.

Sorry about that. I didn't see that you were on when I was. It took me a good chunk of time just to get connected with STORM. I figured it was just because of the region difference, but sounds like everyone was having issues.

JC2 was hard, since I'm at the Hardcore difficulty, in a semi-last level, also closing in on 2 more trophies for the Platinum, and no matter how many tries I get, I end up getting ANNIHILATED by a freakin' helicopter! I tried shooting it so many times, yet it doesn't go down, let alone hijack it. Should've gotten the Rocket launcher, which would've made it easier -_-'.

Finally going back to the first Uncharted to give it a crack on Crushing.  I got to around chapter 16.  It's actually a lot tougher than the second game so far. I never realized just how much they improved with the sequel before.  Grenade use is a big annoyance in this one.  That, and the endless waves of enemies with spread out check points.

The story's been pretty great to go through again.

Yeah, I beat that game on crushing. One shot kills on the boss are annoying.

I gave up on Crushing for the first Uncharted at around chapter 6 I think.

The part in chapter 4 around the plane crash site was probably the most annoying when it came to lack of checkpoints. I'll probably try to finish it off on Friday.

I made a bit more progress on Final Fantasy IX. Just finished off the second disk.  I'm really loving this one.

Project Diva 2 (PSP). Wow. Who would have thought that Sega would make such a solid and one of the better rhythm games (imo) this generation? The music is either up your alley or not, but I'll say there is enough variation here if you know a bit about Japanese music (and not just the teen aidoru pop music).
If you have a Japanese PSN account I highly recommend trying out the demo for your music fiends out there! I bought the full game and I'm lovin' it! It's not revolutionary or anything like that, it's just a very well made rhythm game. Might even make a few new Miku/Vocaloid fans in the process.

Another PSP rhythm game that I bought recently (and cost me at least one hundred bones) is DJ Max Portable 3. Haven't tried it, yet, but if turns out it sucks it won't be at a loss - for me, anyway

As Halloween is approaching I've gotten into a Castlevania kick lately. The thing is, I never played a Castlevania game before till The Dracula X Chronicles just a couple months ago. What a perfect way to get into the series; you get 3 games for the price of one (at a discount) and they're all good! I also got the Rebirth game and plan on starting the series from Castlevania 3 (I've watched playthroughs of the first two...3 is a good place to start, I think).

@ matty:
I was pretty much the exact same way with Castlevania. I picked up that one not too long after I got my PSP Go last year. I've only played through SotN though.

Have you played DJ Hero?

Edit: Got my platinum trophy in Uncharted. After finishing it on Crushing, I pulled off the steel fist expert trophy on my second try :D.
