I still don't like Ax' caveman-like face and Tyris' toned-down costume. It's an adult cartoon, if they could have all the blood and gore, why not with sexy outfit.
I believe they were likely scared of backlash from SJW/Wokeists/Political Corrective whatever you want to call it.
Entertainment media can't have people, especially women, be too sexy any more because it's regarded shameful, those who have naturally voluptuous body or find confidence in showing off more skin than one should, absolute shameful! They should be shamed for such bodies.
But if fat or unattractive women are depicted, then it's regarded empowering. you can't insult them because that would be body-shaming! And shaming someone for their body is bad! Never shame someone for their body, they perhaps naturally look that way.
