Facebook thankfully has pre-approved function so we could always filter all rage bait posts.
Just posts though, not comments, unless the comments are from someone outside the group.
I'm not on Facebook at all, which is even more efficient way to avoid the drama.
Because if everybody's thinking "what's the point" and gave up, then doom is certain.
Someone has to care enough so that big techs could find the eco-friendly solution, otherwise they wouldn't even think about it.
It's not that they won't think about it, it's that they won't care when money is to be made. And that protest, petitions or even doing things the right way doesn't do much most of the time.
Hell, there was one episode of Captain Planet that actually had a
bad ending for a kids show! The episode was "Whoo gives a hoot".
The villain Looten Plunder wanted to cut down an old growth forest for wood. The Planeteers try to stop him, especially given the forest was home to a rare species of owl. However the local police lady, while a good person, still encourages the Planeteers to go through the legal procedures and protests to save the forest. By the time they got through with the procedures, all that was left of the forest was stumps. Looten Plunder gloated in his victory and threatened to kill the owl if they bothered him about it.
Captain Planet is an environmental educational show. While Looten Plunder is characterised as a villain, he still represent corporate greed, and how willing the rich and powerful are to get more rich and powerful.
That said, towns across America have to put up with data centres popping up which is ruining their livelihood.
Yes, that's the concern right now, the unsettling implications of advanced AI capable of reverse engineering complex software.
Now people just use it for video games but later it might compromise critical infrastructure and global security systems.
The potential fragility of our digital world and the hidden risks beneath current technical progress is real.

I knew of that video, but didn't know if it was on YouTube or not. I was going to show it to you.
The reason is money. Making animation is not cheap (unless we are using AI) and Night of the Werehog was made from a portion of the budget of Sonic Unleashed's marketing.
I know, For something on par with a Sonic Mania Adventures episode, I understand such quality animation takes time, a few months at least. But it's not like Halloween (or Christmas) creeps up on us. I'm sure something of at least decent quality can be made in the span of a month, or even better if start some when September.
Such ideas for Halloween (or Christmas) content:
- DLC for current game. If it was 2024 or 2025, Shadow Generations could've had Haunted Castle for a Halloween DLC. It would've been on-point for both a Shadow game as well as Halloween.
- Sonic Racing: Crossworlds have "Festivals" which are usually themed after new racers. The Werehog should have a festival in October.
- For Sonic Frontiers, the Holiday Cheer Suit is fine, but what about recycling the Birthday Bash DLC to be more festive? Or allow snow to fall and settle on Kronos, Rhea or Ouranos Island?
- An animation, in quality with Sonic Mania Adventures episodes.
- Digital Comic. Not as long as a standard IDW Sonic comic and usually for promotional use.
- Just hire Balena Productions to make seasonal-themed Sonic videos. They don't have to be of the Scared Stupid or Christmas With Sonic continuity.
- A Sonic & Friends Special.
I once tried to make my own Sonic Yule Log video, but I lost the footage I was working on.
