App data insights and analytics company App Annie reports that Sakura Revolution was the most downloaded game on Japan’s Google Play Store in December 2020.
Per the agency, the title saw more downloads than Punishing: Grey Raven (Hero Entertainment), Among Us! (InnerSloth), and Roof Rails (Voodoo) during the period.
App Annie also reports that the title did not break into the top-10 highest grossing Android titles for the month.

GENDA SEGA Entertainment dethrones Taito taking their Guinness World Record
for “Most Claw Crane Game Machines at a Single Venue”

Quote
It looks like SEGA continues to gather up world records in the arcade space, previously they had the impressive Guinness World Record for “Most Prolific Producer of Arcade Game Machines with over 500 different games”.
Not a huge fan of claw machines but I do like the idea of having SEGA’s name in the world record book even if its GENDA SEGA.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon is Niche Gamer’s Game Of The Year 2020

Quote
Like many, we were initially apprehensive when it was announced the next entry in the Yakuza series would be an RPG.
These fears were quickly cast aside.
The world through protagonist Ichiban’s eyes made perfect sense, and an ideal fit for a series that manage to marry serious drama with sheer absurdity.
