Why is Denuvo bad? I mean, if others say it's bad then sure, but I won't stop getting Sega games over it.
Well, denuvo can increase CPU usage, leading to performance issues like longer load times, frame rate drops, and overall worse optimization.
If you played the single player game, it doesn't matter much.
But if it's a competitive online games, it could be frustating.
Also for Steam Deck ... Denuvo causes problems on the Steam Deck mainly by triggering its activation limit, locking users out for 24 hours when changing the Proton version or machine ID. These frequent hardware changes are misinterpreted by Denuvo as new devices, even when the device itself hasn't changed.
