Switzerland and the United States strangely have similar overall suicide rates (14 per 100,000 people), but the age patterns differ significantly.
Switzerland is still better off than most of the world.
Yeah, I dig the prediction of Nintendo would be the last bastion of traditional home consoles. Especially after Playstation is shifting its core business model toward a digital-first platform and ending physical disc production for new games. And that's not far in the future, they'll begin to do that in January 2028.

About microchips surgically fitted into ones hand though, may be they'll do it to rich people first. Right now microchips are very expensive due to AI bubble and they won't give those away to any people. Well at least right now, 3000-5000 years from now would be very different case.
I imagine disks will be collectors items in the future as things become more digital.
That's actually a noble dream to have. As for me, I want a quiter life. Having to be a superheroe seem scary if I have to think about supervillains too who will keep coming to hurt me.
I'm talking about my next life.
I believe, in my previous life, I was either a soldier or a sailor who served in WW2 and likely died at sea. My brother believes that could be why I don't like getting into water. (I don't have aquaphobia. I don't mind large bodies of water at all, I like the sea and don't mind getting on boats... I just don't want to swim if I can help it.)
My current life is very comfortable for me. yes, I have autism and the older I get, the more anxiety seem to be an issue, but I have an easy life, I am content with it. I'm not super-rich nor have everything I want, but I have everything I need.
If karma is a thing, then perhaps this life is compensating for the suffering I had in my previous life?
I believe that
IF I HAVE TO come back to Earth in my next life, and that if I need to pay back the karma I had in this life with tragedy and suffering in the next, then I want to be a genuine superhero in my next life. Superman carries the legacy of the House of El, Batman carries the trauma of the loss of his parents and Spider-Man carries the burden of great power with great responsibilities. All these heroes do great things, but tend to suffer for it. That's why, if i have to suffer in my next life, I want to choose how I may suffer, and i want to suffer being a superhero.
Superheroes have been in fiction for the last 90 years, yet the idea of anyone actually being a superhero is regarded ridiculous, with "
real-life superheroes" being regarded as publicity stunts or mocked as weirdos. Granted super powers themselves are regarded entirely fictional, but if things like ghosts, aliens and possibly cryptids exist hiding in our daily lives, then who knows what other supernatural elements are out there, things that could be superpowers for my next life.
So yeah, 90 years of fictional superheroes, yet no one has ever dared to be the real deal. If I get a clean slate in my next life, but I am told I will be met with more hardships than I have in my current life, then I want to be a superhero. Or the very least a regular hero who becomes legendary.
