Or France since the animation team is from there.
Even if it's animated by a French studio, usually it's animation set in America.
Well, if I was as wealthy as before it would be my pick too. Right now for me smartphone is cheaper option than a full PC.
You don't have a home computer?

They're really the center of the universe ... according to Hollywood movies.

I wonder what the computer would be in the future. May be they'd be invisible, merged with our bodies, and powered by quantum and biological systems instead of traditional microchips.

Exactly! Americans think they have the GREATEST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD! Despite Switzerland being so much better.

Honestly, I imagine by 2200, maybe the very least 2100, there will be a "merging" of sorts between home computers and smart phones. Lots of people are reliant on Smart Phones these days and they are more accessible than computers. But, me as an example, there are still people who prefer a nice wide screen or proper keyboard to type on than thumbing responses on smart phones, so perhaps smart phones of the future will be able to use television monitors as a display. So I imagine the Smart Phones of tomorrow effectively replacing the PC, while still allowing users to use these smart phones with television monitors and wireless keyboard and mouse for PC use.

I also believe that video game consoles will make way for small form factor gaming computers, such as the Steam Machine. People will still regard these small form factor gaming computer as consoles though, just the games will still be available on your PC-smart phones. These new consoles will simply boast that playing games on their machines would be better experience. I imagine Nintendo would be the last bastion of traditional home consoles.

I also believe the AI bubble will be less of a pop and more of a flump, but there will still be a second "Industrial Revolution" of sorts as AI take over businesses for being more cheaper and efficient over human workers, and just like the original Industrial Revolution, humans will attempt and fail to rebel over it. There will likely be laws around the use of AI against fraudulence. However, there will still be a niche market for human-made products and services, such as people who prefer to talk to a human for important matters over an AI.

As for computers being merged with us, well, I don't know if this is a legit government plan or just "conspiracies", but it's believed the government are considering microchips surgically fitted into ones hand. Either the palm or that stretch of skin between the thumb and index finger. These microchips used for banking. Of course, you don't need a tin-foil hat to realise how invasive it would be to literally be chipped, so by making credit and debit cards obsolete would mean hand-chips would be regarded a necessity than mandatory. (There's already theories that the government may make coins and banknotes obsolete in favour of digital banking. Which, if that's the case, I believe will make way for privately owned gold-currency, such as Goldback, for those who do not want their finances tracked by the government.)
I imagine if humans were to be able to merge with technology, such as Cyberpunk games, that would be 3000-5000 years or so.

These are just my predictions from observation. I would like to predict "caped superheroes like we have in fiction" may eventually start to come into existence... but that's only because, if you believe in reincarnation let alone have a choice of who to be next, I want to be a genuine superhero in my next life. I am not joking about this.

Switzerland and the United States strangely have similar overall suicide rates (14 per 100,000 people), but the age patterns differ significantly.

Yeah, I dig  the prediction of Nintendo would be the last bastion of traditional home consoles. Especially after Playstation is shifting its core business model toward a digital-first platform and ending physical disc production for new games. And that's not far in the future, they'll begin to do that in January 2028.

About microchips surgically fitted into ones hand though, may be they'll do it to rich people first. Right now microchips are very expensive due to AI bubble and they won't give those away to any people. Well at least right now, 3000-5000 years from now would be very different case.

I would like to predict "caped superheroes like we have in fiction" may eventually start to come into existence... but that's only because, if you believe in reincarnation let alone have a choice of who to be next, I want to be a genuine superhero in my next life. I am not joking about this.

That's actually a noble dream to have. As for me, I want a quiter life. Having to be a superheroe seem scary if I have to think about supervillains too who will keep coming to hurt me.

I'm talking about my next life.

I believe, in my previous life, I was either a soldier or a sailor who served in WW2 and likely died at sea. My brother believes that could be why I don't like getting into water. (I don't have aquaphobia. I don't mind large bodies of water at all, I like the sea and don't mind getting on boats... I just don't want to swim if I can help it.)

My current life is very comfortable for me. yes, I have autism and the older I get, the more anxiety seem to be an issue, but I have an easy life, I am content with it. I'm not super-rich nor have everything I want, but I have everything I need.
If karma is a thing, then perhaps this life is compensating for the suffering I had in my previous life?

I believe that IF I HAVE TO come back to Earth in my next life, and that if I need to pay back the karma I had in this life with tragedy and suffering in the next, then I want to be a genuine superhero in my next life. Superman carries the legacy of the House of El, Batman carries the trauma of the loss of his parents and Spider-Man carries the burden of great power with great responsibilities. All these heroes do great things, but tend to suffer for it. That's why, if i have to suffer in my next life, I want to choose how I may suffer, and i want to suffer being a superhero.

Superheroes have been in fiction for the last 90 years, yet the idea of anyone actually being a superhero is regarded ridiculous, with "real-life superheroes" being regarded as publicity stunts or mocked as weirdos. Granted super powers themselves are regarded entirely fictional, but if things like ghosts, aliens and possibly cryptids exist hiding in our daily lives, then who knows what other supernatural elements are out there, things that could be superpowers for my next life.

So yeah, 90 years of fictional superheroes, yet no one has ever dared to be the real deal. If I get a clean slate in my next life, but I am told I will be met with more hardships than I have in my current life, then I want to be a superhero. Or the very least a regular hero who becomes legendary.

Switzerland is still better off than most of the world.

That's true. Those 9 millions lucky people who lived there versus 8 billion people elsewhere.

I imagine disks will be collectors items in the future as things become more digital.

Playstation game discs can deteriorate over time due to physical wear, environmental factors, or a chemical breakdown (disc rot) though. If they aren't playable anynore, do they still hold values?

It depends on what is regarded of value. you can buy a copy of E.T. for Atari 2600 at around $5-$15 for a loose cartridge or $60-100 for brand-new factory sealed. But the Mexican land-filled ones go for $500-$1500, though my statistics doesn't state if the landfill ones are working order or not.

Sometimes suffering and tragedy cannot be avoided.

You can do all you can to live a healthy and prolonged life. Eat the right things, enough sleep and exercise, keep a happy mind to prolong your health and life. Be a nice enough person to make friends, be a loving parent or child to your family, be the golden child of your community... only for it to be cut shot by some chance mugging with a knife or gun. Everyone has a fair lot in life, but sadly there are those who take away the fairness from others, which is why life is regarded unfair.

Thomas and Martha Wayne were Gothams famous aristocrats, and Bruce was a happy child. Depending on the continuity, some say the mugger never knew or cared it was the Waynes he killed that night, other adaptions was that it was a hit by a crime family that the Waynes opposed or the Owls, but this kind of tragedy is the kind of thing that happens in real life.

In yet, you'd think there be more people trying to be genuine superheroes with the state of countries around the world. Or maybe some of these people are genuine non-super powered heroes, but the media doesn't cover them because they're still regarded as silly people in capes and masks.

I see. I guess it's just for collecting purpose since I believe nobody would want to torture themselves playing that E.T. game.
