But without Netflix there might not be Sonic Prime ... or Shenmue Animation.

There can be other streaming services for these Sega shows.
Or Mimic again.
Yeah, probably. But that be too obvious.
Me. I grew up with those comics.
There are Indonesian version of them.

Well, I have heard of them before, but they're hardly seen in DC-media.
Not much but they are memorable ...

"Up up and away!"
"Truth, justice, and a better tomorrow!"
"There's always hope.
"I'm the fastest man alive!"
"To be the best, you must face the best."

But if Netflix didn't fund it, those two shows wouldn't exist at all.

Well, I have heard of them before, but they're hardly seen in DC-media.

Sometimes thing that's popular in one country wasn't populat at all in another country.
For example Bobo Rabbit (from Netherland) is the most famous rabbit in my country,
more popular than Buggs Bunny, Thumper, or Roger.
It even has its own magazines and live action stageplay.

But that wasn't the case with other countries.

Yu Hazuki could've asked the fans to fund it. Wasn't Shenmue III crowed funded?

It'll be harder. 12 episode animated series definitely requires lot more funding than just making 1 game.

But surely there are other streaming services he could choose from.

Then he would go to them instead, kickstarter fund won't cover the 12 episodes animation production budget. But still it wouldn't be easy to convince them.
