I really hope there will be a Hogwarts Legacy II, especially if we get to play as our characters again. Not only would it be our character's sixth year in Hogwarts but, it will also be Albus Dumbledore's first year as well!

With the game's success, I'm pretty sure a sequel is in their mind.

I've only played a bit of the original Crazy Taxi. Still getting my head around this power surge!

I played more Craxy Taxi in mobile and arcade than in console and PC.

Crazy Taxi and Jet Set Radio sequels likely Super Game releases based on SEGA website updates

Quote
SEGA’s division 3 is the online division, which through interviews has been said to focus on the Super Game releases. Jet Set Radio’s staff was moved from division 4, the mobile division, to division 3. Division 3 has been confirmed through interviews to be focused on GaaS (Games as a Service) and currently handles Phantasy Star Online 2. This would mean that both titles are likely to be online and potentially online only, much like PSO2. They would also be high budget triple-A releases.
This would align with SEGA’s decision to send announcement postcards to Twitch streamers, who are more likely to give GaaS titles attention, rather than ...

I hope so. I can't wait to get back to Hogwarts.

My only issue with Crazy Taxi is... I kinda wanna explore the city. I can't if I gotta drive around for other people.

I want Hogwarts-based 2D fighting game.
No, not like Multiversus.

More like Persona 4 Arena Ultimax but we used magic instead of Persona.

May be later in the new game.
The previous games were based on arcade games where there are always time limit so we don't spend too much time in it with just one coin.

I can't really imagine a Hogwarts fighting game... though I can imagine Harry Potter in MultiVersus.

True, I cna understand why arcade games need timers in order to assure circulation of customers, but not for when it's for home gaming. Such as Sega Bass Fishing which... other than the lack of big purple cat as a playable fisherman, carried over the timer for it's primary gameplay.

I thought the whole point of fishing was just to chill, not to fish by a time limit.

I think I remember playing fighting games with magic-theme back then but I forgot what it is.

I guess arcade-perfect port games really have their drawbacks due to how different the ecosystem compared to home console games.

SEGA Filed Trademarks Of Classic Titles : Altered Beast, Alex Kidd, After Burner, House of the Dead, Outrun, Super Monkey Ball, etc

With these trademarks being filed publicly, we might see more games in development from SEGA down the line or it could be something completely different from what we could expect.

What console was it for? Perhaps we can whittle it down.

Yeah, and in a way influences how video games are made. Such as lives and 1-ups. IT's an outdated concept brought over from arcade games.

It's on arcade, the title was in Japanese.

I guess that's the reason why SEGA removed lives and 1-ups in Sonic Superstars.
