New or old, I don't care. Art design can change, as long as its a positive change.

Bayonetta is a new franchise, new series. Its art style and characters are set already. I would complain if Bayonetta 2 has a buffed up, greasy, hairy man as a the lead character; just as much as I complain about the new Shining designs.

Suddenly, my interest in Bayonetta 2 was piqued.

Again, you think too much with your dick and not with your head. I'm sorry, you remind me of a 13 year old pervy kid.

What, you think I'm attracted to Zangief or something?

Sorry, but no. You are mistaken, sir. :P

Of course, he is not 12 years old.

You have no issue with Zangief in his underwear, but a woman in a bikini or even in a full leather suit, angers you? You are sexist. Poor Zangief.

Lol, I'm not a pedophile, either.

That's not Zangief's underwear, it's his wrestling outfit. :P You don't wear a shirt and pants when wrestling. I don't know if their intent was to make a sexualized character, though it is possible. He might have been created by the same designers who worked on Final Fight, who created a muscular Freddie Mercury, a pre-op tranny, and a gay man in a cop outfit as characters for that game.

I'm not sure what's confusing you about Bayonetta, like I said earlier, she clearly isnt a soulless object made to pander to the creepy.

uh, you havent played Yakuza have you? The hostesses arent a major part of the game. If the game was largely about them I sure wouldnt be playing it.  Unless you think the argument is that dating elements = bad? In which case that's not it, character interaction systems can be a great thing, but it requitres good characters and writing first, which again, these games dont have

I think I have said about four times now, clear as day why I'm bothered about the cliché and pretty slutty re-design of the Shining series. How it isn't anything to do with it being against my morals. Everything to do with not being generic anime art and against what I grew to love about this series.
But he'll ignore that and keep going.

You can tell him that Bayonetta is great, you can tell him girls in general love the Bayonetta character you can tell him it was designed by a woman.
But he'll ignore that and keep going.

Frankly Fuzzy does nothing but start drama, arguments and try to be centre of attention anyway he can and manages to piss off at least half of our forum members in the process.

The amount of chances I have given this guy, the amount of people I like FAR more I have told to try and put up with him and give him a chance... The amount of topics he has derailed.

I give up, next serious foot out of line and he's IP banned.

Um, okay?

So I guess your avatar must indicate that you love guys who are into kinky S&M, right? :P

I'm not sure how many creepy people she appeals to. It's not like I have a statistic or anything.

Since when did fictional characters start having souls, anyway?

I played Yakuza 3, which had the clubs removed from them on these shores. I had no problem with that.

Oh, I didn't realize you'd already played through the unreleased, untranslated game already.

I'd hate to break it to you, but the dating in Yakuza 3 didn't have good writing. The overall story in Y3, as a whole, was only decent... but story alone isn't a good enough reason to love/hate a game. :P I still enjoyed the game a lot, despite its many shortcomings.

Sharky, how much would you wager that if this game had been called "Hearts RPG" that you still wouldn't have liked it anyway?

My new female roommate loves the way Shining Hearts looks. She's the biggest fan of these ecchi, harem, and hentai anime/manga that I've ever seen in my entire life, and I could take a picture of her bookshelf to prove it. She'd probably pick this game up in a heartbeat if it came to the US.

But the point's kinda irrelevant, don't you think?

Considering I enjoyed what little I've played of Sakura Taisen, as well as 7th dragon both with art style I can't say I'm fond of I think the chances are pretty good IF it is a good game.

Well done, you room with what I can only assume is a fat and/or ugly chud of a girl... Since those are the only ones that enjoy shit like hentai. The ones that actually choose to hang out with homosexuals are usually fucking annoying to boot.

But I have no idea what that has to do with what you quoted me on...

And again, if Bayonetta had been a wildly altered relaunch of an older series, would you have found it to be a good reason to hate the game outright?

Is it fair to hate new games in a series just because they don't adhere to the standards of games from a long, long time ago?

She's a little chubby, but I think her obsession has more to do with self-identification. She's indicated that because she's got some really huge boobs, she loves to see anime girls with really huge boobs too. xP (Also, since I have a 360, she's wanting to get that DOA Xtreme Volleyball 2 game to play on it... I don't think I could deal with the embarrassment of having that game on my console's play history, lol.)

Recently though, I've been getting her into stuff like Junjou Romantica and Gravitation. Go go gay anime! =)

You said "Some women like Bayonetta!", even though it's equally as irrelevant as saying "Some women like Shining Hearts!" It doesn't prove or disprove anything.
