What ever you do today, don’t miss this trailer!
Why? Because it is easily the best English trailer for a Yakuza game, ever! It’s even better than the original Yakuza games trailers, back when they were really trying to break into the western market!
The trailers shows basically everything the Yakuza series is about, has a great narrator, script and manages to be funny too. It really delivers!
If you still haven’t jumped into the Yakuza series Yakuza 4 is the perfect place to jump in. Considered the best game in the series yet by many it is also not necessary to have played the previous games to get into the story.

Heh… I don't know if I've ever heard a trailer narrator curse before.
Pretty sure the one for Overkill did.
Anyway, this is pretty damn epic XD. Good show SEGA, giving this one some serious hype.
Yeah Sega's doing well with this so far. This time last year, we still didn't even know if Yakuza 3 was coming West or not. (They confirmed it December 8, 2009). Yakuza 4 has already been playable at E3, and we've gotten cool trailers like this one. This is how to better hype up a game.
Can't wait to play this.
Hmm it isn't bad, although the background music isn't congruent with the games music. Can You imagine yourself doing the beat em sequence with Clock Towerish music?
It loses points for being inorganic, but it was definetly fun?
So is Mark Hamil returning as Majima or the whole trailer is a trap leading us to believe it will have english voices.
I don't like it when everything is completely in one language, today's world is very multi-lingual illustrated minimally in Resident Evil 4.
The game is in Japanese. Its just a voice trailer. Do you think the dude in movie trailers that says 'COMING THIS SUMMER' is in the movie too?
Great trailer.
Yes, multi-lingual, I get it Cube. This game is based in Japan. You never seen Japanese films… in Japanese?
So I started watching this trailer thinking that it couldnt be that bad ass.
To my surprise This was indeed a very good awesome trailer.

Best English trailer for a Yakuza game yet for sure, but…
It really bugs me how they insinuate the playable characters are just all around bad people, when especially characters like Kazuma are some of the most positive roles in mature games today.
I think it's just a marketing thing. People like to play with evil guys or something like that 😆
Sanus never go into marketing, it's lost on you.
The trailer has a few minutes to sell a game called 'Yakuza' to the western crowd. I don't think mentioning that actually deep down some of them have a heart of gold and sometimes take the time to run an orphanage is going to really sell the game… to the people they are aiming at with this.
