SEGA has finally released a new trailer showing off Yakuza 6‘s clan creator. The clan creator is a brand new minigame created just for Yakuza 6 where you can find and recruit gang members. The minigame will allow you to train them and have them fight the ‘The Six Lunatics’. Which is funny because we have seen Kazuma Kiryu literally take on armies, but now he needs a clan of people to take down six people?
The trailer also features a in-game code for your clan: BLACKPANTSKOUMEI, which unlocks… I dunno, we will find out when the game launches on PlayStation 4 on March 20, 2018. What do you think of Yakuza 6‘s clan creator?

Can you people get your facts right? The “Six Lunatics” are pro wrestlers from New Japan Pro Wrestling. Kazuchika Okada, Tetsuya Naito, Hiroshi Tanahashi, Satoshi Kojima, Hiroyoshi Tenzan, and Toru Yano.
When the game was released in Japan, they were hyping up the cross over between New Japan Pro Wrestling and the Yakuza series. It was so successful, they’re doing it again in Kiwami 2 with other wrestlers who were with New Japan at one point: Masahiro Chono, Keiji Mutoh, Tatsumi Fujinami, Riki Choshu, and Genichiro Tenryu.
The big problem is Sega of America or Europe decided not to hype up the appearance of New Japan wrestlers in the game, when New Japan is doing more shows outside of Japan, and New Japan is gaining more momentum outside of Japan, especially when they got Chris Jericho (formerly of WWE) to wrestle at their big show in the Tokyo Dome. Their Australian and California shows sold out quick as well. So Sega could have easily marketed this to try to attract a new fan base who might not have touched a Yakuza game before.
There’s a mistake in this list, “FX-Unit Yuki” (the new name of “Henshin Engine”) is not a future Dreamcast game, it’s a PC Engine game.
