Compile Heart announces Hyperdimension Neptunia VS Sega Hard Girls for Playstation Vita

ugh

Earlier today at Dengeki Bunko Spring Festival 2015, Compile Heart announced a cross-over game called Hyperdimension Neptunia VS Sega Hard Girls for the Playstation Vita. If you don’t know what either of those series are: Neptunia is about girls who are supposed to be like consoles (including Sega consoles), and Sega Hard Girls is about girls who actually are Sega consoles. That’s about the gist of it.

No details were announced aside from that the game’s name and the platform. Hyperdimension Neptunia games do usually get localized, so a western release can be expected.

“Hi☆sCool! Seha Girls” anime Episode 5 has arrived, Impressions

Guess what time it? That’s right, it’s Hi☆sCool! Seha Girls time, with a new episode now available on Crunchyroll!

This episode, as with episode 3, sees the girls outside of the game worlds and back in the academy itself. The episode kicks off with Saturn deciding she wants a pet, with Mega Drive chiming in to find her one. Unfortunately, Mega Drive’s selections are somewhat off the mark, as she tries to convince Saturn to get a Mammoth from Space Harrier, or the dog from Shadow Dancer. After Saturn suddenly changes her mind about the whole pet thing, the girls are then called for their next assignment, which is something a little different to the norm.

They’re tasked with creating a new Puyo Puyo title!

SEGA Hard Girls Anime “Hi☆sCool! Seha Girls” Debuts!

001sega

The new SEGA-based CG anime, Hi☆sCool! SeHa Girls, has officially landed! The new series’ first episode is now available on Crunchyroll, and sees the characters, human representations of the SEGA Mega Drive, SEGA Saturn and SEGA Dreamcast, introduced to one another as they enter the SeHaGaga Academy, with one goal; graduate!

It seems like a bizarre concept for an anime, and that’s probably because it is. But suffice to say, if you’re a SEGA fan there’s plenty to enjoy here. There’s numerous SEGA references, unsurprisingly, and some neat jokes worked into them, such as the OutRun guy still having “20 years left on the loan” for that flashy Testatrossa – ouch! There’s some joking about regarding the heroes of Golden Axe, and some hilarious internet shenanigans with Dreamcast too!
