Playing Need for Speed Hot Pursuit.
This is more addictive than Burnout Paradise, I was put off by the demo but the full game is far more fun.

I've been playing that a lot recently too. I just hate the 'Rapid Response' and Time Trials. I wish they had more Hot Pursuit events rather than the hot lap challenges.

So I beat inFamous the other day. The ending was pretty good, but was open note. Time to get the shards, side missions and other trophies lol.

I got stuck with 1 shard remaining after combing the whole map for hours. Such a pain :(.

I just beat Resistance 2. I really enjoyed that one. They made a ton of improvements from the first game. There's more variety in the levels and enemies. The checkpoints are a lot better spaced out, and the graphics are such a huge leap over the first game, it's wild.

I'm really interested to see what happens story-wise in Resistance 3.

I don't really focus playing one game at a time, I usually jump between games.

I have lately been playing a lot of Gears of War 2 and Perfect Dark XBLA in co-op with Kogen pretty much every day for over a week now.

Man, I had no idea how much I liked these games. Horde mode is seriously fun enough with a group of people to keep me busy for months on end, and Perfect Dark is way better than I remember. I cannot believe how bad Perfect Dark Zero was, arrrghh.

I am kind of confused though. A lot of people here seem to hate the original Perfect Dark, but before that everyone I ever knew thought it was one of the best games ever. What gives? How can you even hate this game? It is EXACTLY like Austin Powers, I love how accidentally hilarious everything is.

And of course Phantasy Star IV, but I already went into great detail about that in another topic.

The Shadow Broker Mass Effect 2 DLC was on sale for like 80% off, so Orta forced me to get it. Problem is I never bought the game so it looks like it might be my next purchase. I am sure I will like it, but the demo really turned me off.

Gears of War 2 is awesome fun in Horde mode.

I played a bit of Perfect Dark on XBLA, but didn't really enjoy it. I'm not saying it's bad, but I didn't really like the demo at all.

I was a big fan of Perfect Dark on the N64. My cousin and I set up some pretty epic multiplayer matches full of bots and sentry guns. Nothing like catching some poor sap with a remote rocket.

I think it is one of those games you had to have played before games like Halo to really "Get", though with that said, Perfect Dark is really unique, only really comparable to GoldenEye 007 for obvious reasons. The difficulty is very unforgiving too, so I can understand if you did not like it for something like that. The controls are really outdated too and seem very strange compared to everything else on the market.

The content just blows my mind, it is not as smooth as many games now, but the stuff available is just crazy, much more advanced than many games coming out now still. Give it another try in the future if you can, forget everything you know about PDZ, it sucked just on the fact it ruined the Laptop Gun (In my opinion, one of the best FPS weapons of all time), and that was the least of it's problems.

Yeah! I remember spending hours just setting up those multiplayer options.

If you ever get an Xbox 360 be sure to pick up this release, the updates really help the game a lot, and every mode has online too.

Also, in the character creator thing, they obviously had to take out Miyamoto's head, but Peter Molyneux and a few other Microsoft employees are in! DEVELOPERS DEVLOPERS DEVELOPERS DEVELOPERS DEVELOPERS!

^Yeah, I have played a bit of Perfect Dark when it was on N64, but I was more into GoldenEye. Not sure what it was that I didn't like about the demo, but I kinda just got turned off by it, even though at first I was really keen to get it.

I might give it a shot but- PETER MOLYNEUX IS IN THIS GAME!?

I'll definitely pick it up whenever I get a 360.  I almost picked up one of the 4GB models on sale for really cheap, but decided against it when I saw just how much it was to buy the hard drive by itself.
It really blows that Microsoft doesn't just use laptop hard drives like Sony.

If it's any help, you can use up to 16GB of USB stick memory as a memory unit for Xbox 360. I have two Xboxes so I use a 4GB USB stick to store my profile and sometimes saves so that  I can sign into either one and copy games and saves across. It's not a huge amount, but an extra 16GB that is portable comes in pretty handy.

I'm pretty sure it says in the save file how many blast shards you have. As far as the rails thing, you'll just have to keep it up until the trophy pops up.

@MadeMang:
Thanks for the tip. I've got a 16GB usb stick, but I use it for a bunch of other things.  The main thing I'd be using the 360 for would be XBLA titles and a few original Xbox games I have kicking around (JSR Future, Outrun 2, etc..)
I don't know if the backwards compatibility would work without the HDD, or if I'd have enough room for Rez HD, VOOT, and such.
