Went to an arcade last night for a birthday party. I gamed it up hardcore, yo. I played Daytona USA and attempted all the little tricks, like the slots machine. Then I played a bit of HotD 2, 3 and 4. They had this sweet setup with two HotD4 machines back to back, and next to them were a HotD2 and Hotd3 machines back to back. Tried to play VF4 but the machine was under maintenance. Played Ghost Squad and Let's Go Jungle with the GF. Oh, and I played Crazy Taxi and got a class B license. F-you, I play arcade games that I own at home. ;)

It's awesome to see SEGA dominate an arcade with machines.

^Note to self: must find that place.

I have some games on my back log but for some reason I've been on a Halo craze lately, unlocking a number of achievements in both Halo 3 and ODST. I even got the 1000 points in ODST, after a few months of having my count at 950 points.

Reach Reach Reach

I did two more Halo 3 achievements. I don't think I'll be able to do any more unless I cheat and do that language filter thing.

Started and finished Lara Croft and her tribal friend. Pretty nice game, I wouldn't have played it if I didn't get a free code for it. It could totally have a physical release.

What does that have to do with this thread? lolol

I've been playing PSO, enjoying it.
Getting back into Gran Turismo too. I'm sad the new Honda CR-Z won't be in GT5. I want that car in real life... maybe in 3 or 4 years, Fiat Punto will do for now.

I've finished Mafia 2. Brilliant, brilliant game. I loved it to bits, one of my favourite this gen.

Now I'm playing Dead Rising Case Zero, cool game for only 400 points! It's short, but lots of fun. This weekend I might start something more substantial, but not sure what.

Just Cause 2 still, I'm about 20 hours in and have finished the campaign.

I was expecting Resident Evil 5 Gold edition in the post today, although I won't be starting it until next week as I have playstation move starter kit and nav controller pre-ordered.

Finishing up my second playthrough of Alpha Protocol and then I was going to finally get the last two achievements in Viking: Battle for Asgard. Not the best games ever, but I had a lot of fun with them, especially Viking.

I randomly started playing Super Mario RPG on the Super Nintendo. I have tried it out before, but was always hugely turned off by the music and terrible-looking art. The gameplay is actually really fun and I think I might play try to play through it some other time later in the year.

Halo Reach comes out in 3 days and I am getting a code for Sonic Adventure on the XBLA the day after, so I will be backed up with awesome games next week. It will be marvelous.

How weird, I just got back from Albufeira 2 days ago. It's a shame that it's full of horrible bald headed loud English people that make me ashamed to be from the same country.
Last time I was in the algarve I had rented a car so I could visit Lagos, silves etc and get away from them!

More Just Cause 2, popped in my Modnation disc and saw that my mods are averaging around 30 downloads each, with Sonic almost hitting 70.

Been playing R.U.S.E. and Mafia 2: Jimmy's Vendetta.

R.U.S.E. is really good so far, an interesting take on WWII strategy. Finding it kinda difficult at some points, but I feel once I get the hang of it i'll really like it. Haven't tried playing online yet.

Jimmy's Vendetta is really awesome, sort of the equivalent to 'Free Ride Extreme' in the first game. It's basically just a really bare-bones storyline with a bunch of action-packed and really difficult missions to do. Very different style to the full game, but very fun to play after finishing the storyline. Would be great if they made Free Ride Extreme again, complete with the batshit insane missions the first game had like chasing invisible men, saving women from Sea Monsters and escaping a blitzkrieg attack in a Model T Ford.

Today was my day off, so I played Valkyria Chronicles 2 until the PSP battery died.
Since that point it's been all about Super Metroid.  I got up to Ridley but can't seem to beat it.

Sega Bass Fishing and Sega Marine Fishing.

Holy holy shit are these games awesome! I had rented them years ago but only used the standard controller. Having just played them this week with the fishing controller, I can now say I found the best game to play while enjoying a beer. The fact that you get a prize for every fish you catch is genius.
