true. Netflix "seem" to be very open with adapting and presenting TV shows that would rarely get greelight elsewhere.
But I wonder at what cost? What's in it for Netflix?
You're right. That makes me wonder too now.
Netflix also love to make adaptation from Japanese anime,
it became so known that the "netflix adaptation" meme became popular too
(usually for mocking if the show was too far from the anime/manga version).
Others rarely do this since anime/manga fans are usually hard to be pleased with live acton version, but Netflix kinda just didn't care.
