As you know, NIS America is bringing over Hyperdimension Neptunia to the States. When it was announced, I assume that all copyrighted SEGA power-ups that where announced for the Japanese release would be taken out. Seems not so.
“Upon acquisition, they will allow you to customize your battle combinations to add, for example, an Alex Kidd or Space Harrier special summon attack where you can deal some serious late 80’s/Early 90’s damage to your foe.”– Ryan Phillips, Marketing Coordinator, NIS America
Not only was this info released, we also got a new trailer. Which you are able to view above.

Cool stuff! Too bad the sprites don't move at all, or talk.
Getting a PS3 for Christmas. This will probably be my first game for it.
@Matty:
Valkyria Chronicles would probably be a better first purchase.
Yeah, that's something on my "list" to get right away, too. Is it a 40+ hour game? I tend to slew console RPGs one at a time, and Neptunia is looking like it's gonna be a hella long game (if this playtest is anything to go by: http://www.justin.tv/illusionbreaker/b/268666752 ). Oh, and the Ico/Colossus collection is being released around that time, too. Damn.
Getting VC makes sense, though. I *think* I'm getting VC2 for Christmas, but it just wouldn't be proper to start that one first, I think…
Does it have a Japanese with subtitles option, or is just English voiceovers?
^NISA has confirmed it has both audio options.
