I’ve already decided against Daytona because if I remember correctly, there isn’t local multiplayer, but what are peoples’ thoughts on SEGA Rally?
That is fucking lame, but for 5 bucks, its not that bad. Plus it has online play.
They are both awesome and we really need to organize some days to play the crap out of them together.

no as much as its a competent racing game, we should only expect the best for the sega rally series. The western devs that made the online arcade never were able to capture what was great about the series and I’d say its the worst in the series. For example the music is so generic and lame and the arcade style was completely trashed. Hate that version. Mizuguchi should only be allowed to make sega rally.

Yes, but thats what you would expect from a current gen rally racing game. Where was the original character that made everyone around the world go nuts about Sega Rally, it was gone. The controls felt too much like a simulator and the music was uninspired and not upto the Sega Rally standard. Was really let down by this version a lot.
