According to Vernon Schieck on twitter, famous for being a ‘not-so-secret behind-the-scenes gaming tipper’, SEGA is going to release a digital version of Sonic Generations on Nintendo’s e-shop. Problem? They want to charge users the premium price of $29.99 for a old game.
Also, Sonic Generations will indeed cost $29.99 when released in Nintendo eShop. It’s currently marked for release on 9/5

Honestly, I know SEGA is capitalizing on new Nintendo 3DS owners that want to play a Sonic game before Sonic Lost World comes out later in the fall, but charging them a premium price isn’t how you do it.
How much do you think SEGA should charge for a digital version of Sonic Generations on the 3DS?
Ad:
i’d buy it at 20 dollars even though the game looks not so good.
30 dollars? no way jose! especially not with Nintendo’s current digital account system. Wish they would fix that. Then i wouldn’t mind buying games digially on thier platforms. I prefer digital, i buy all the PS3 games i can get digitally now.
What do you mean by used? How can a digital title be used?
My bad, edited.
ha. used game. lol
Who cares, it’s a Ninty system.
They should have opted for a Vita conversion at least.
They’d be more welcomed on that, Vita hasn’t even had one dedicated Sonic release yet.
That’s because there are more Sega employees than Vita owners.
It shouldn’t be priced over 20, and ideally it should be 10/15.
Nobody will pay 30 bucks for a Sonic game when the new one comes out in a month with a 40 pricetag
