Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax is a new 2D arcade fighting game that will feature characters for Dengeki’s wide ranging light novel IPs. So far the confirmed characters include:
- Asuna (Sword Art Online)
- Shana (Shakugan no Shana)
- Kirino (Oreimo)
- Shizuo (Durarara!!)
- Kuroyukihime (Accel World)
- Mikoto (A Certain Magical Index)
Even though right now they are only talking about the ‘arcade’ version, they already confirmed there will be a console version of the game shown off at a later date. They also teased about the possibility of including SEGA IPs, specifically games like Valkyria Chronicles.

The amount of squealing in this game is going to be legendary.
As for sega characters, you can already see that one of the arenas is a VC level so I’d say VC characters are all but confirmed.
You forgot to mention that Mikoto from A Certain Magical Index was also confirmed.
(Also, you made a typo: it’s “Kuroyukihime”, not “Kuryoyukihime”.)

Indeed, this game is surprisingly Dengeki X Sega (emphasis on the X Sega) as the trailer shows, though Sega’s probably not going to get too much emphasis.
Don’t find this exciting but I suppose I hope it comes West.
Well, this has the same director and producer as Valkyria Chronicles, so I wouldn’t be surprised if someone from there was actually playable.
