Hatsune Miku Project Diva f on the PlayStation Vita is a great game! Hatsune Miku Project Diva f PS Vita is similar to Hatsune Miku Project Diva F on the PS3. The PS Vita version came out in Japan first and the PS3 second. In the west that release order was reversed. I’m pretty busy with stuff right now so this is just a mini-review, but I had to talk about a few things and how awesome this game is.
The graphics on the Vita look great. One of the better looking games on PS Vita. They aren’t as sharp as the graphics on the PS3 version, but after a while you won’t even notice, they look great. The Vita version shares all of the same features the PS3 version has, and has one extra, AR mode. In AR mode you can take pictures of Miku and the other vocaloids in your surroundings. I haven’t tried out this mode yet, but it looks great for people who like that kind of stuff. Find out more info about AR Mikustream where you can send your AR pics to SEGA and they will post them live on the Project Diva f website.
One of the positive sides of playing this on Vita instead of the PS3 is the input response time. On the PS3 version you gotta tweak the options so they work with your TV, on Vita everything just works and is set 100% accurate. A very good thing if you were having trouble with this setting on the PS3 version. Having accurate input response time allows you to do your very best.
Hatsune Miku Project Diva f PS Vita makes a great pick up and play game for when you are too busy to position yourself in front of your TV and play on a console, or when you are away from home and just need your Project Diva fix! One-hundred and one percent understandable, game is addicting!
Hatsune Miku Project Diva is a really awesome, colorful, fun, addicting, and hardcore music game. Don’t let the overly cute visuals fool you. This game WILL NOT go easy on you. I included the above video as an example of how crazy this game can get. Even if you don’t think you will like it, you really should give the demo on either PS3 or Vita a try, you might be really surprised at how you react to the game!
If you are intersted in finding out more info about the differences between the PS3 and Vita version, check out this article about pricing and how the DLC works.
If you aren’t at all familiar with this series and are interested in finding out more, I highly suggest you read my review of the PS3 version.
Final Score:
I like the “Guitaroo Man” rhythm aspect of the Miku games. It’s the “buying the underage girls gifts, playing dress up with them and petting their heads” aspect that I find super creepy.
THIS ISN’T THE CHAO GARDEN WE WANTED.
Nice article! Thank you
