The team behind the indie RPG Elysian Shadows returns to the Swingin’ Report Show following the launch of their Kickstarter. As discussed in early June, the game is heading to the SEGA Dreamcast, but this time the team has many more details and ideas for the beloved SEGA console. Check out our interview to hear the team’s plans for the game, what SEGA titles influenced them, and how far they’re potentially willing to go to support the many Dreamcast features and accessories. You can find their Kickstarter here, or search “Elysian Shadows” on Kickstarter.

I love how Falco’s voice is echoing makes it sound so powerful!
Listening to it now, they say that they’ve individually completed projects. I think this should be mentioned on the Kickstarter page, because I think that would pretty much get rid of my biggest reason to be wary of it.
As for FF hate, mine would be FFX. I can understand if it was your first entry into the series and just don’t know any better, but that game is dorky as hell. Annoying characters with goody outfits, stupid dialogue, and a sport that I didn’t think would be possible I could care less about knowing it exists. But I guess some people like it.
I guess on the flip side, FFVII was my first and favorite, and I remember people giving that game crap when it came out for whatever reasons. To be fair, it was probably the first title to have goofy outfits, but the polygons kind of hide all of that.
BTW: Squeenix is having a sale on PSN on their FF titles. I was thinking of picking up FFVI (PS1) since I never played. Is this the right version to get into the game with?
