Another localization from SEGA is hitting Western consoles this year! Announced on the official Playstation blog, the light novel 2D fighter Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax is set for a Western release exclusively to PS3 and PS Vita in Summer 2015, both digitally and at retail for the US and digital only for Europe. If you want to know what the game is all about, we’d advise you check out Kori-Maru’s 2014 SEGA Game of the Year pick and read SEGA’s announcement at the Playstation blog.
Between this, the SEGA 3D Classics, and Yakuza 5 – it’s a great time for localizations from SEGA West!

You forgot to mention that they’ll also localize Phantasy Star Online 2, Phantasy Star Nova, Yakuza Ishin, Yakuza Zero, Puyo Puyo Tetris and Valkyria Chronicles 3! R-right?
Seriously though, it’s great (and very unexpected) that they’re localizing this. Maybe not a game that I want, but considering how it seemed very unlikely that out of all of SEGA’s Japan-only games that we’d get this one it’s pretty nice.
Sega could have used this “barely anything to translate so will bring it over” tactic on PS2. Stuff like Sega Rally, Typing of the Dead and the Sega Ages games…oh and Puyo Puyo too of course.
Unfortunatelly there are no versions for xbox consoles 🙁
I already bought the JP version. Damn.

Sega west should just stick to localizing Sega’s native Japanese productions, not like Sega west is that busy with anything else, it’s Japan that gets the real Sega stuff anyway, the western side is just third party licensed with a Sega logo stamped over it – Sega in name only.
