Loving the list of games so far 🙂

I would still love to see games like Zombies, Lost Vikings, Wiz N`Liz, Light Crusader or Soleil…only one of those would be brilliant for me. But already the confirmed games are reason enough for pre-ordering.

I would be happy too. Given Okunari’s interview, I think many if not all of the titles you mentioned were included on his list.

Then he opted for a more mainstream selection.

My top wasted slot so far:
    Alex
    Altered
    Spinball
    Space Harrier 2

The rest is ok (GnG) or excellent (Landstalker,
PS4, Contra) but the japanese version is way better with Yuyu Hakusho, Musha.

We must keep an eye on the Asia version (Yuyu ?)

Although this reveal was a bit more on the predictable side with some expected titles (Golden Axe, Alex Kidd, Vectorman), like a lot of others I’m glad to see Wily Wars finally get a proper release in the states. I’m hoping they’re saving some real surprises for the last ten.

  4. VirtuaIceMan says:

I expect Thunderforce IV might get added? Shame we’re unlikely to see Super Monaco GP due to licensing (Monaco has to be licensed these days!). Super Hang-On maybe?

If they suddenly pulled it out the bag with EA licenses and dropped in Road Rash, Desert Strike, etc, that would be pretty amazing.

Or Virtua Racing, but I guess the SVP chip might be problematic?

  5. SkyBlue says:

Would have swapped Street Fighter 2 for Strider (come on…a near Launch title that is exclusive to the MD).

Hoping the last 10 has either Alisia Dragoon, Ranger X, Crusader of Centy/Soliel and/or Pulseman.

Panorama Cotton on the JPN version would make me buy it straight away.

  6. Xander says:

Amazing collection and no complaints. They are surprisingly doing an excellent job. But they could make it even more amazing and really surpass everyone’s expectations. Imagine if they threw in some Sega CD games like Snatcher. Having the first official western release of a Hideo Kojima classic would make news. Then following Mega Man, they should include more Japan only releases like Cotton and Pulseman. Pulseman might also get some attention since it’s by Game Freak. Dynamite Heady, Quackshot and Ristar would round out some of Sega’s platformers. I also wish we had gotten Monster World IV instead of the earlier title. Alisia Dragoon is a lesser known but great early title. Mutant League would be cool. The obvious and huge missing piece from the Genesis’s story is Sonic 3 & Knuckles. That is such a huge gap left open. Sega really needs to get the legal issues taken care off
one way or another so they can start publishing the epic much loved masterpiece again. Genesis/MD is not complete without it. But overall, this is amazing. They are giving Nintendo a run for their money and are totally putting to shame the PlayStation Classic. Imagine that, Sega outclassing both Sony and Nintendo on new hardware in 2019.

  7. PEDRO FERREIRA says:

Come on Sega, please put Ristar on there. It would be weird if it was left off.
