ATLUS Reveals More Details on Characters and Features for RAIDOU Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army™

Atlus has shared new details about RAIDOU Remastered: The Mystery of The Soulless Army‘s cast of characters, demons and progression systems. RAIDOU Remastered: The Mystery of The Soulless Army will launch on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, Steam, and Xbox Series X|S on June 19, 2025, and is available to pre-order now (pre-order date for Nintendo Switch 2 version to be announced).

Kenzo Satake is a respected young leader of the Kanto Haguro yakuza group, known for earning the trust of both his subordinates and the local community through his efforts to maintain peace in the area. With a solid reputation and an extensive web of connections, Kenzo has a deep understanding of the workings of the Capital. He holds a great deal of respect for Raidou and proves to be a reliable ally, often sharing valuable intel during investigations.

Meanwhile, Sadakichi, a laid-back yet enigmatic army private, goes on the run after deserting the military. Troubled by the secretive “Super Soldier Project” lead by Munakata, Sadakichi attempts to contact a journalist named Tae to expose the truth.

Kiyoshi Daidouji, the younger brother of the Daidouji family head and uncle to the missing Kaya, struggles to keep his textile business afloat due to outdated operations. While he appears concerned about Kaya’s disappearance, there’s something questionable about his intentions.

Kaya’s abduction is tied to a strange group known as Hell’s Pawns who are inhumanly strong beings whose monstrous appearance and actions seem linked to Munakata’s project. Adding to the unease, a mysterious creature known as Red Cape has been sighted across the Capital, stirring rumors of abductions and attacks.

RAIDOU Remastered: The Mystery of The Soulless Army introduces over 50 new demons, raising the total to more than 120, including familiar faces from Devil Summoner 2: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. King Abaddon and Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance. Raidou gains access to powerful new Summoner Skills, which are unlocked by crafting and equipping different weapons. These skills fall into two categories—Combat Skills, which boost performance during battles, and Sword Skills, which grant passive benefits when equipped.

Players are encouraged to tailor their skill sets to fit different enemy types and can swap Combat Skills mid-fight for strategic advantage. Weapon variety, enhanced through Sword Alchemy, plays a key role in unlocking more Summoner Skills. Additionally, allied demons can be customized with both Combat and Passive Skills, learned through combat, fusion, or skill books—some of which can be upgraded through repeated use.

Demon loyalty also factors heavily into progression; the more a demon fights alongside Raidou, the higher their trust grows, eventually unlocking exclusive skills, crafting materials, and items. Your overall loyalty rank across all demons determines your status as a Devil Summoner, unlocking new titles and expanding your demon roster—titles you can proudly display as you progress through the game.
