The latest Game Informer (issue: 216) has a parody section called “Game Infarcer” that features great news like “Japanese Developers won’t shut up about how much Japanese development sucks” and how Activision shuts down every studio.
Yes, its not to be taken seriously. I thought some of you guys would enjoy the fake review of ‘Sonic Reborn’ which of course is a fake game.
Every year SEGA is going to enter the console market again. This rumor is as old as… well, as old as the “Microsoft to buy SEGA” rumors. Remember those? The site says that SEGA is planning on releasing a new arcade board and a year after the arcade board is out, SEGA will produce a console based on the technology.
The site says that SEGA has ‘signed up’ a deal with UK’s Imagination Technologies, to work on the console. Oh and of course, this is not true. Why would this leak to a random website no one has ever heard of?
[UPDATE] This rumor is by Zach Morris, this guy has been making this same rumor since 2003. The last time we encountered him it was at SEGA Nerds, saying that by 2010, we would have the new console. Seems he is pushing it to 2012. This is a lie 100%. Spread the word. [/UPDATE]
You saw us post them as a rumor, that both Shenmue and Jet Set Radio were coming to XBLA. There have been numerous PartnerNet leaks, newest one being Crazy Taxi, but this one came from a shady source who calls himself the XBOX360LEAKER.
Not only that, other people that have PartnerNet can’t seem to find traces of Jet Set Radio or Shenmue on the services. When users on NeoGAF contacted “XBOX360LEAKER” he said he got the games off of “Test Net”, a service that does not exist. Even worse, he left traces of his photoshop work behind on his ImageShack account.
I think he took advantage of all the news about Dreamcast leaks, decided to play on some classics that fans wanted. A shame really.
