You don't have to have an iPhone to download them. You can do it in iTunes. You're welcome.
but you can't play them without a dev kit thingy, right? I play my games on my 1st gen iPod Touch.

Ah, you got me. I can download them, but without a way to enjoy them, its no good. Plus I don't plan on getting an iPhone anytime soon or a iPod Touch.

I was just messing with you. It would be crazy to buy them with no forseeable way to play them. Plus They are better on the Genesis Collection.

I believe the app itself auto saves, so there is no reason to search out a temple or priest or whatever to save in-game. Give it a test: start up a game, stand in some random spot, choose exit from the menu and shut off the iPod, restart and select "continue" from the app menu. Should pick you right up again.
