As I donned my Meta Quest headset and entered the virtual realm, I was immediately enveloped in a cosmic warp speed. The title screen unfolded before me, a mesmerizing tableau of colored planets swirling in the void. The digital racket grip beckoned, inviting me to grasp it and embark on my cosmic journey of Cosmic Smash.
Diving into the menu, I discovered a treasure trove of game modes awaiting exploration along with interesting sights as the cosmic beings vibe around the spaceship. Each mode offered a unique twist on the classic Cosmic Smash formula, promising hours of exhilarating gameplay. From the solo odyssey of Journey Mode to the heart-pounding challenges of UNKLE Teaser, every option brimmed with potential.

With the racket grip firmly in hand, I felt a surge of anticipation as I prepared to serve and smash my way through the cosmic obstacles. The controls were intuitive, seamlessly translating my movements into precise actions within the game world. Whether unleashing a blistering Power Smash or deftly maneuvering to intercept incoming targets, the gameplay felt incredibly responsive and satisfying. A great way to have an exercise work out.
The accessibility options further enhanced my experience, allowing me to tailor the controls to suit my preferred playstyle. Whether standing tall or lounging on the couch to move freely with the left stick or through teleportation, Cosmic Smash VRS accommodated my every whim, ensuring maximum comfort and immersion.
Test your skills with or against other players!
Venturing into the online arena, I eagerly sought out other players through Quick Play to test my skills against. Despite some initial wait times, the multiplayer sessions proved to be a revelation and the game allows you to warm up against an AI Bot before the match begins. Engaging in heated matches of Firewall and Bodyshot, I found myself fully immersed in the cosmic competition with other players. The seamless gameplay and lack of lag ensured that every encounter was a pulse-pounding thrill ride.
For enthusiasts of the original Cosmic Smash or anyone craving a VR adventure that combines sports and exercise, Cosmic Smash VRS is an absolute must-play. Its immersive gameplay, stunning visuals, and seamless multiplayer integration make it a must-have for any VR enthusiast.
