The next Hatsune Miku game gets details leaked early, coming to Vita and PS3

SEGA has now given details on their tease for the next Hatsune Miku game. Sinobi, a Japanese blogger who happens to have early access to Weekly Famitsu has posted up details for the game.

As of now the game doesn’t have a real name and is using the placeholder title “Next Hatsune Miku Project Diva“. The game will keep the basic gameplay from the previous Miku games while introducing new elements like touch controls (referred to as “scratch”) and new bonuses will be given to users that connect combos in specific time limits. The game has confirmed it will have four difficulty settings.

Some of the Vocaloids confirmed in the issue of Famitsu inlcude Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin, Kagamine Len, Megurine Luka, Kaito and Meiko. Some of the confirmed songs are World’s End Dance Hall (wowaka), Pieretta (nezuki) and Cat Food (Doriko). The costumes or “Modules” as they are known in game will include a Hatsune Miku Emerald and Megurine Luka Ruby.

The staff developing this title are the same ones that did the PSP and the arcade version of the Hatsune Miku games. This title is schduled to be released on Playstation Vita this summer and on PS3 sometime in 2013. No details on what the differences between the Ps3 and Vita versions will be. More details will be coming out soon, especially since SEGA will open the official site tomorrow. For Japanese readers, the Vita version of the game will be playable at Nico Nico’s “Chokaigi” even on April 28th and 29th at Makuhari Messe.
