Will someone draw Jin from Cyberbots in Ogami Ichiro’s outfit from Sakura Wars, Frank in Bruno Dillenger’s attire from Die Hard Arcade (Dynamite Deka in Japan), or go all out drawing Felicia with Sonic the Hedgehog’s gloves and shoes? The possibities are endless! The contest runs from today through Friday May 31, 9pm PST and Capcom-Unity will pick up to 3 winners for the limited edition of Project X Zone. There’s also another contest if anyone is attending MCM Expo this year for cosplaying as one of the cover characters in Project X Zone.
SEGA x Capcom x Namco project
Famitsu.com has updated with a ton of new screenshots showing off the newly announced characters for Project X Zone. If you missed the announcement it has been confirmed that Resonance of Fate‘s Leanne and Zephyr would be appearing as a pair in the upcoming 3DS game. Click here if you never heard of Project X Zone.

Seems that SEGA isn’t going to let the Resonance of Fate franchise die out just yet. In the latest Famitsu magazine (scans above) they confirm that there will be a Resonance of Fate team made up by Leanne and Zephyr. They also revealed other characters from Capcom and Namco-Bandai that will be joining the full game.
- Alisa and Soma from God Eater franchise (Namco-Bandai)
- Lei-Lei (aka Hsien-Ko) from the Darkstalkers franchise (Capcom)
- Frank West from Dead Rising franchise (Capcom)
Seems that the roster will just keep growing and growing at this rate. But do you think that the Resonance of Fate franchise deserves to go first instead of a classic franchise like Phantasy Star?
We have been posting about the collaboration project with SEGA, Namco-Bandai, and Capcom. Thankfully for you we have the first details thanks to Famitsu. The game will be called Project X Zone (pronounced Project Cross Zone).
Project X Zone will be a strategy RPG featuring “iconic” characters from all three publishers. According to Famitsu, the characters in the game will team up in pairs for fighting scenes. So who got into the game? Hit the jump to see the revealed characters…
The site has been giving us “chromosome” teases for weeks and now it seems we will finally be counting down to the big reveal… or are they? All we know is that there are no more “chromosomes”, they seem to have ‘broken out’.
The clock will end on April 12th at midnight. So if you are waiting, you still got a little less than 5 days. We here have ‘tried to guess’ what characters the chromosomes belong to, but thanks to the interweb, someone already matched those. Check out the photos below.
