Did you want to pick up the first two Yakuza titles on the PlayStation 2, brand new and at a decent price? You are in luck as rare Yakuza titles get reprinted thanks to Amazon seller JADD ENTERTAINMENT. Yakuza 2, before the reprinted offer, was over a hundred bucks used, so having it for $50 dollars brand new is a great deal. I first assumed these were actually ‘newly found stock’, but according to producer at Atlus USA, Sam Mullen, these are ‘reorders’. I would totally pick up Yakuza and Yakuza 2 on the PlayStation 2, those are the rarest titles.
There is also a ebay seller, by the name of vgp_videogameplus that is selling these same titles with free shipping option. If you want to save as much as possible.
Rare Yakuza titles get reprinted, but do you think its worth the price? Thankfully, if you aren’t happy with your copy, Amazon has a good refund policy even on 3rd party sellers. Supplies are limited, so be warned that they can disappear at anytime. What Yakuza title are you picking up? Let us know in the comments below.

How about just a PRINT of Yakuza 5 🙂 Would buy in a second.
Tweet to SEGA, I’ll bet after all this they might reconsider a limited run. Or at the very least, an empty box for our codes…
Limited Run Games approached them about doing a physical version of the game last year and they were shot down. 🙁
Yeah, no surprise. LRG work mostly with indies. And may be SEGA didn’t want to be associated as indies developer/publisher since if they really wanted to release it, they’d just do it. But of course they didn’t want it.
Man, I wish they could do the same with some other rare sega games. Like for example Sonic Adventure 2 for Dreamcast and Skies of Arcadia
Dreamcast would be impossible as GD-ROMs are no longer produced. At best we could hope for PS2 and PS3 titles.
What about Gamecube? I didn’t even know companies could or did reprint old games. Skies of Arcadia Legends would be a good one to do although the Gamecube does have weird discs.
Gamecube games are also no longer produced.
PS2 games are still in production, as confirmed by Video Games Plus who ordered the games. My guess is the active South American market have kept manufacturing of PS2 games alive.
