Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown announced

SEGA has announced a new version of Virtua Fighter 5 today via the trailer above. Outside of this, not much is known, the only thing we do know is that it will be for arcades and it will carry over your Virtua Fighter 5 R items to the new updated version.

So now that we got the “final” version out, can we have our console port SEGA?

I'm sure SEGA Amusement USA and Europe will carry the machine, but as of now, its Japan only.

Based on how the R cabinets were in Japan that is highly unlikely. They had it so that VF5R would not run if it wasn't connected to VF.net and on top of that they wouldn't let operators buy the machines, they could only lease them.

hopfully Sega have changed their buisness model since then. This needs to come west.
